Shah's Deli & Afghan Store — Local services in Lynnwood

(Need to try more of this place before giving it 5 Stars)

My parents told me about this place and I tried their bread. First, you CAN NOT beat the price. Soft inside, crispy outside with some "burnt ends" (in a good way!) if you like the flavor contrast. Got our hands on 100% Whole Wheat bread which has a more chewy texture, but once that is re-heated, it should be solid!

Tried their Chicken and Veggie Pizza which was solid for the price. Comparable to the price of MOD. Hoping they introduce HALAL Beef Bacon or Shredded Beef (just an idea). This place has a lot of potential and I heard they are expanding their offerings and will open up a dining room once the Subway next door closes. We're gonna have one of those classic Half Grocery Stores and Restaurants you see on Food Network's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. To bring it home, really great price....

We traveled all the way from Vancouver, BC just to try their Qabuli, and it was absolutely worth it! The dish was perfectly cooked—tender meat, fragrant rice, and rich flavors that truly stand out. The sides were fresh and complemented the meal beautifully.

A special shout-out to Zaheer, who was amazing! He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and even didn’t want to charge us for the meal. That level of hospitality is rare and truly appreciated. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Highly recommend this place for authentic Afghan cuisine and...

I only have one issue with them and its that you have to place your order twice, whenever i call the number on the map it goes to somebody that isnt even in the store and when i give him the order he transfers the call to the cashier in the store and then u will have to repeat the order to him which is kinda frustrating, but other than that the food is pretty good and the sauce they serve with food...
