This is a very 90's Target! I never thought I would see a Target like this again. This had to have been built in the mid to late 90s. They have the neon around the store and the vintage Food Avenue. The Food Ave was shut down, not sure if its reopening due to Covid. The signage hanging from the ceiling is also old school and very 90s. The electronic dept is located at the right corner of the store, as the original setup from back then, compared to being in the middle back part of most current stores. The only thing I had an issue with was how messy everything was. Some of the isles just looked junky and alot of the products looked clearanced. Almost like they get all the junk and left over clearance from other stores?? Maybe thats why this store isn't updated because its like a partial Target outlet ? Still a unique experience and pretty busy store. 😎👍

This Target as well went through a remodel not too long ago, it's nice and spacious. I feel like it's actually bigger than the Target in Douglasville but of course that's just my opinion. As I'm walking around, their staff was actually doing an overall sale's floor audit, this is how the store stays up on product coming in and not having so much left over. Very smart idea especially when it comes to the stores overall inventory, friendly staff and well-stocked.

Do not go to this Target if you need to buy groceries. They barely have a frozen food section and no fresh produce. It was neat walking through a super retro Target, but the nostalgia ended quickly when I realized I could only do part of my shopping at this store. A lot of items were out of stock and the store was organized rather oddly, so it was hard to find what I needed. I don’t think I’ll be coming here again.

Today, during my trip to target, it started off, pleasant with one of the target employees at guest services. She provided impeccable customer service as she assisted me with a return purchase that was made via my baby registry. Although the return presented some challenges, she was able to assist me with a successful return. However the end of my shopping experience was not as pleasant.

Once I was done with my shopping experience, I went to self check out. While waiting in the self checkout line, there was a skinny black lady with glasses, who noticed how long the line was and she stepped right into assist customers. I cannot say that about the lady that was in the self check out area. As I proceeded to the 2nd self check out, I parked my cart directly in front of one of your target employees. She was a heavier black lady with black and red curls. I really wish I would’ve caught her name so that I could further speak to her customer service or lack there of that she provided while I was checking out.

I had planned on doing two separate transactions. She questioned me and asked “Are you doing two different transactions?” I replied, “yes.” She stated that “well you can’t put anything in the cart while you’re still checking out.” I honored whatever she said, however, I know that I have never experienced that before. I’ve been in many stores where I had to do two different transactions in the self checkout lane while the employee or the self checkout guide is there and they’ve never questioned me the way I was question today.

I proceeded with my purchases. As I finished with my purchases, she said, “I’m not trying to be funny, but I need to check in this bag.” The bag she was referring to was a cooler bag that I had just finished purchasing. I wish I would’ve requested for a manager right then.

This experience made me feel very uncomfortable and I felt harassed. This was very embarrassing, and I feel like I was racially profiled. I will not return to the East- West Target to...

Horrible experience. I came inside at 8:00am(when they opened) and they proceeded to “hand me off” to another associate because of me doing cat and jack returns. Then she took another customer in the mist of ringing me up. I visited the store with my daughter and wanted to purchased some pants so first I went to clearance and seen a couple of pants in the clearance that were not marked down but my daughter tried them on anyways. The dressing room is right next door to the clearance no one was in the dressing room to check us in and I understand that. It’s early. When the lady did show up I asked her to check the price of the pants because they’re on the clearance rack.(I’m sure people sometimes put things there that don’t belong) the lady says that out of the 2 pants bothe was full price… My daughter could fit one pair of pants and it was full price as well and the reason it was so many in the clearance section was because the pants had been discontinued and informs me that if I spoke to the people upfront I should get a 15% discount so I went to the front and they told me that the paints are ringing up full price and that it’s not saying that it’s discontinued The lady upfront Tried to communicate with the lady in the dressing room, and it was the wrong lady because she walked up front to say she didn’t tell me that So I told her how the lady looks in the dressing room who told me about the discount she kept telling me the price is the price.. the lady at the front was not nice or understanding she just wanted me to be wrong. I did not get the pants. Wish the Communication was a lot better or the lady tried to at least reach out to the one who told me I got the discount a...

Don’t buy a bicycle from this Target. I purchased one on the first day of a sale through the Target app for pickup. A few hours later, I got a notification that my order was ready, so I go to pick it up. When I get there, a team member comes out to my car with a gift card saying actually my bike hasn’t been built yet, and to call tomorrow to see if it’s ready then. Ok, that’s understandable.

I called every day for the next week and it was the same story: the person who builds bikes isn’t there, they can’t get ahold of him, etc. For two of the days, no one answered the phone at guest services at all after trying to call multiple times on those days. Finally, on the last day before my order would be cancelled automatically by the app for not picking it up, they finally tell me that it is being built today and will be ready by 5pm. I go back over there at 5pm, and two team members (I think one was a team lead) come out to my car with more gift cards and say that the bike was assembled, but they discovered that it was defective, so my order is being cancelled.

I understand that if you buy something requiring assembly, the person they have to build it might not be there that day. But to get the runaround for 6 days, have guest services not answer the phone for multiple days, and for my order to end up being cancelled on the last day once they find out the item is defective? It’s not acceptable. This is the Target closest to my home, but I won’t be shopping there any more. Thanks for the $30 in gift...
