Unfortunately, this was my first time here (closer to my home than my previous salon) but not my first time getting waxed. It was busy but it was the weekend so no surprise and they moved everyone quickly ā I was under the impression that I was getting a Brazilian wax but soon after I got to the room, I realized that I had done something terrible to these ladies in my former life.. The young lady truly tried her best but she needed more supervision because she was snatching and snatching. I thought my legs were auditioning for a role as a stunt double in a Kung Fu movie! I had to stop her several times once the wax wouldn't come off. She didn't speak English, which is fine but groans of pain shouldn't have to be translated. Eventually, she corrected herself but by then, my IUD and uterus had to be laying on the table. She was kind, indeed, and paid close attention to removing the hair that was missed so I credit her for really trying ā
I wasn't warned that the woman who was to provide my services, was new (as in just getting started, not just new to the company). I would've liked to be informed that she may be a bit rough since she's new and still learning. I try to be supportive and understanding with anyone who's working during these times. They did give me a discount for services rendered ā
I'm not sure if I'll return.
Update: I did break out in the Brazilian wax area. How embarrassing to be itchy and raw there! Not sure if it's the kind of wax they used or the excessive snatching. It did go away but what a terrible experience. Will...

However, I must say that my last experience thatās received on 9/16/21 was the most unpleasant, in fact the worst waxing experience Iāve ever had. First I booked online and requested Patricia but when I got there I was greeted by someone else (Mel) which I didnāt have an issue with but it wouldāve been considerate to let me know that when I checked in. Iām not sure if she was using the wrong wax or if she didnāt let it cool down all the way; but she went over the same areas multiple times like over 4 times (FYI I was getting a Brazilian Wax) so that was not the greatest feeling to have to keep enduring. I kept having to remind her how hot the wax was, and wax was going everywhere, and at the end she breaks out the tweezers to get the hairs left behind (after over 4 times waxing) Iāve never been tweezed down there after a wax. All of my previous waxes were great even my first time, and I normally get full body plus Brazilianā¦.normally the wax was spread on once rarely twice, that was it and I was left nice and smooth but this time was excessive. I received my first wax Sept 7th and as a first timer at the location all was well. I scheduled my follow up appointment with a specific person, Silvania, as she came recommended. Upon scheduling my appointment I was confirmed for Silvania via email. Over the next few days I received emails for cancellations and rescheduling, all without them actually reaching out to me to inform me of such and inquire as to who I would like to be scheduled with if Silvania was no longer available. I was rescheduled to Jenny. Upon my calling the location I was informed that I selected āany provider,ā no I didnāt. Additionally they told me I was scheduled with Ari, but I literally received an email informing me of a change to Jenny just this morning. Nope, Iām good. I requested they cancel my appointment. Have enough decency and respect to at least reach out and inform clients of changes as opposed to changing them without inquiry at all. And donāt try to convince the client that they selected something they did not. If they are being dishonest and dismissive about this, what else are they willing to be dishonest and dismissive about when it comes to other matters is always my question. Iām...
