It’s great that so many people like it here… but we did not have the greatest experience with our two dogs.
We boarded them (have not used their daycare services) for a few days. The smell of this place is absolutely horrible. Gag worthy, honestly. While driving home and giving my dog a bath, the smell was so awful we kept gagging (I had other people in the car and they smelled it too). I’m not sure why such a smell - as I’ve been to other boarding facilities without such a horrid smell.
Also, when I picked up my dogs, one had a greenish yellow goop by his eye. After their baths, we realized they both had eye infections which needed to be treated by a vet with antibiotic ointment. My dogs, once again, have never had an issue at other boarding facilities and have actually never even had eye infections before.
One of my dogs actually hung his head in the car like he was sitting in a corner drooping or something… like, he had just been so sad. He also trembled the whole way home and the evening. I had never seen him do that either. Now this could have been from other reasons than the care of this boarding facility itself, but never having seen him behave that way before, I feel it was at least a mix of factors.
This place does not give off a clean impression, nor do I feel my dogs were taken well care of. Great for everyone else that apparently has a good some experiences here, but we did not. The only reason I gave two stars is because the woman who took our reservation over the phone was AMAZING and I felt so confident leaving my dogs here for a few days for the first time. But after not speaking with that same lady again, it then went downhill. Unfortunately we will be searching for a new boarding facility, but this place seems to be better with daycare so maybe you’ll have better luck with that should you...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of boarding my dog at Pawz Inn, and I cannot express enough how incredible this place is! From the moment we walked in, the friendly and attentive staff made us feel right at home. Their love for dogs is evident in every interaction, and they took the time to understand my dog’s unique needs and personality.
The facilities at Pawz Inn are top-notch. The play areas are spacious and immaculately clean, providing plenty of room for dogs to run and play. My dog, who is usually quite shy, quickly made new friends and had an absolute blast. The staff ensures that all dogs are safe and happy, with plenty of supervised playtime and cozy rest periods.
What truly sets Pawz Inn apart is their attention to detail and the extra touches that show they genuinely care. They offer a variety of enrichment activities, from agility courses to puzzle toys, keeping the dogs mentally stimulated and engaged. The daily photo updates were a delightful bonus, allowing me to see how much fun my furry friend was having while I was away.
The boarding accommodations are equally impressive. The sleeping quarters are comfortable and secure, ensuring a restful stay for all the dogs. I also appreciated the individualized feeding plans and medication administration, which gave me peace of mind knowing my dog’s routine was maintained.
Overall, Pawz Inn exceeded all my expectations. The caring staff, excellent facilities, and commitment to providing a loving environment make it a standout choice for dog daycare and boarding. I highly recommend Pawz Inn to any dog owner looking for a place where their pet will be treated like family. We will definitely...
Read moreI do NOT recommend Pawz Inn for grooming. While their boarding services are fine, their grooming services are sub-par. I dropped off my German shepherd for grooming services. They cleaned her fine but they didn't have the tools necessary to get to her undercoat. This has caused some serious matting to my dog's undercoat. At first glance, she seemed fine. Her coat was clean and she was fluffy. However, upon further examination, I noticed her undercoat was severely matted, to the point where she's in pain any time I try to rake her coat to resolve the matting. They had called me and told me that they "tried their best" and that they couldn't get to her undercoat properly. But I wasn't aware it was this bad. She didn't have any matting before I dropped her off. After trying to get her mats out for a week myself, I had to go to another groomer to fix the mats. It took several hours and over $180 to fix the problem they caused. They might be fine for small dogs or short coat breeds, but if you have a large dog with a thick undercoat, DO NOT bring your dog here. If they didn't have the tools necessary, they should have let me know from the beginning. I would've rather had them deny service than deal with the repercussions of them doing the poor job they did. They even charged me the full $100 for the grooming when all they did was make...
