Original review below: The manager did reach out to us and apologized and offered to make it right so we gave it another shot! The service was 10x better, the food was still the same, and they didn’t make us feel ostracized or anything because of our original review. I would come back but on a Monday to play bingo again ;)

Terrible. Just terrible. The service was, to use a polite word, TERRIBLE. There was only 6 tables at 5pm and our waitress took FOREVER to do anything. I had to ask another waitress for more sauce one round and I asked our waitress for more water and she said “I’ll just bring you a pitcher” (mind you this would have been my FIRST refill and with 1 other table for our server that was too much and I needed a pitcher) and that took 10 minutes so when the other waitress came back to check on her table I said “I’m so sorry but it’s been 10 minutes since I asked for more water and I could use some please”. It wouldn’t have been a big deal if they were busy but from 445pm-6pm there was I’m not joking 6 tables and our waitress was in charge of 2 of them (us being one of them). When we ordered deserts our waitress again took forever but besides that my friend ordered one of the cookies desserts and our waitress said “I had someone else make it and they accidentally put chocolate on it, do you still want it?” And when my friend said “I’m sorry no I’m not a big fan of chocolate sauce” she said “are you sure you don’t want it?” And this was making my uncomfortable because she didn’t want it but she also felt bad saying no again. They didn’t even offer to remake it. Also my milkshake didn’t even come in a milkshake glass, which isn’t a big deal at all but I mean cmon at least put it in a glass when everything else wasn’t going right. Oh and their ranch is THICK THICK, I thought it was tartar sauce. And the one other table she had didn’t even get their FIRST ROUND of drinks until they got their food. The seats have “cushion” but it’s either so worn down or they took the cushion out of their seats because it was ROCK hard 😂 -10/10 experience. First and last time...

I'm a pretty regular person at this location, I know a lot of the servers, they know me, they know I like toast and cabbage soup with sour cream on the side, and that sometimes I only order breakfast for weeks at a time (get the french toast with strawberries!). They know me, they know my boyfriend, and they know my mom. We're like...weird server-customer family. I love the food at this location, it's very consistent, and I'm almost never disappointed (I'm looking at you, though, cook-who-never-gets-my-eggs-over-hard-the-right-way). The cabbage soup is the ONLY cabbage soup I actually like (something about it is just so....fulfilling!) and the cream of broccolli with ham is also a family-favourite. The burgers are GREAT (I don't eat burgers very often, maybe two or three times a year), but I don't really like their pasta dishes. I'm also picky about pasta, though, so that could just be me!

Every now and then service can be slow, but I'm there so often that I've stopped worrying unless I'm in a rush because usually there's a good reason for it. The bathrooms are almost always kept clean, and if they aren't they're taken care of the second you mention it, and they're two-stalls so it's not awkward or anything if you're like me and can't stand the pressure of being the only one allowed to use the bathroom at any one time. Let me start by saying I usually love big boys. I have been taking my kids since they were little and I have fond memories going when I was a kid.

I went with my family for late lunch/early dinner. (About 5pm) ontop of half the salad bar still covered in dried up, stale looking breakfast food, the service was absolutely terrible. My waiter, who first specifically told me he wasn’t my waiter, then said he was; took our order and I didn’t see him again for 25 minutes after our food arrived, when we were ready to go. The waiter who brought my food seemed to not want to be bothered by us when I asked for Parmesan cheese for my daughters spaghetti and a cup of soup because it wasn’t at the salad bar(which I ordered) I waited close to 15 minutes before going up to the counter to ask(was brought it a few minutes after that). There were 3 other tables besides mine and he wasn’t the only one. My son’s bun was also ROCK hard, I asked for just a fresh bun - and never received it so I just asked for it to be taken off my bill. As I was leaving they brought out a new plain hamburger (he had a cheeseburger) that I didn’t ask for.

It was just overall a terrible experience and I will never return to this location. I could look past all the issues with foods, I know it happens, but the way the waiters handled everything and didn’t seem to care is what...
