Very rude argumentative manager. I was charged $14.99 for the #31 $8 for one large order of egg rolls and $2 for hot sauce and chili flakes.
I asked if dine in customers were charged for condiments the very rude argumentative manager told me no then he said, "that's different".
I can't understand how "that's different", if we are all paying for "food".
It should be a given that customers may want soy sauce or hot sauce with their food and to charge someone just because they order take out, is just plain greedy.
Had I not been rushing to get back to work I would have asked for a full refund especially because the manager raised his voice and said he did not care if I came back.
The menus posted online are out of date and do not reflect their current prices. The manager went on and on about how much things cost for him.
If you are so concerned about making a quick buck off your customers perhaps you should not be in the service industry.
Dollars are earned, you should not feel privileged to make $66 profit for selling siracha by the half ounce to only your to-go customers.
I felt so disrespected by that man.
They gave me sauces I didn't even use but charged me for the ones I wanted.
Out of touch. Not good vibes greedy...
Read moreVery poor service and value. I love pho. i have been eating at this place ~10+ years. I even enjoyed the owner (?) gentleman's hip (?) hair style/color and sleezy tones. I even enjoyed the numerous to-go during the covid. i just went there to eat-in (5/1/2022). the price is sky rocked & taste is meh & portion is def shrank. i understand the inflation. i saw the pho price went up 10 - 15% in the menu. i was okay with that. i ordered an extra large. Extra large price was not listed in the menu. i didn't bother to check b/c i'm used to ordering extra large. so the price was normal price + 30%. i asked for extra bean sprout and the kid (never seen him in the past during my previous visits) said it's extra $2. wow...i said no thanks. i used to consider this place as hole in the wall place with warm heart. it def changed... didn't even bother to check on me during my eat-in. well... i'm all about family business and supporting local. however, i'm def not going to support this place going forward. it reminds of saigon diamon across street. i miss the other pho place that's closed (now chen's noodle). there are better places around the area. I would NOT recommend Que Huong to use your hard...
Read moreYes, this place qualifies as hole-in-the-wall joint - my favorite joint! We got #39 - Bun Bo Hue, #42 - Banh Cuon Cha Lua, #10 Pho with sliced beef, #5 fried spring rolls (Egg rolls as they call it) and #6 - summer rolls (fresh rolls).
Spring and summer rolls were decent, nothing special to write home about, BUT their Pho was awesome, the broth was excellent and perfectly seasoned!!! It wasn't too sweet, which I liked and honestly speaking, haven't had good pho in a long time, so it was nice be exposed to delicious Pho.
I liked the Bahn Cuon Cha Lua- which is steam rice rolls with meat, definitely would recommend this. As for the #39 - spicy soup, it was ok, had bit of sour taste, it reminded me of tum yum soup. It also had congealed pork blood, which I'm on a fan of.
I didn't like that they watered down their hoisin sauce. But I'll let that slide lol. Next time I visit, I'll need to try their bahn mi, rice dishes with pork, beef...
