Charges Taxes on Education Enhancement Fund Card..Tax Exempt Card

I diligently found every item (overly priced) I needed for my classroom. Finally, I am waiting in line to check out. The items were scanned. I presented my Education Enhancement Fund Card to the cashier. She enters the code for my school district. The code is a tax exempt id. I was asked how do I want my receipt..chose emailed & printed. I swiped the card...I noticed taxes were included and informed the cashier. It was too late. The transaction was completed. It took so long for the cashier to return the credit to my card (reverse the funds). She called the manager three times to assist her. I asked the manager if the items could remain in the shopping cart with my name labeled on it for 3-5 days until the Credit Card Company credits the account. "Oh, yes! We can most definitely hold the items for you." I return to Office Depot, and the shopping cart with my name on it has disappeared. Of course, the manager and the cashier were not present. I was estremely disappointed and frustrated when leaving your store. The rude customer service and the lack of knowledge of what is in the store did not look well for your company. The first gentleman I spoke to was an older black gentleman standing on a ladder, having a conversation with another employee, not about work. He turned and looked down at me as if I was bothering him. I asked him if I could ask a quick question his rude tone back was "what", as to say you're bothering me. He had no idea and told me to go look in another area of the store, pointing to the direction. Sadly I will not return to this store. The rude customer service is not acceptable in this day an age, since multiple places carry the same item and how you treat a customer earns their business. I usually come to this location all the time to have something printed and last night was absolutely ridiculous! Ms. Skylar ran the register and the print department for 35 minutes by herself with SEVERAL people in both lines! and this isn’t the first time she has had to do this! On multiple occasions that i come in, she is always working both stations by herself. I witnessed her calling for someone to assist her and no one came either time! Not even a manager. She’s ALWAYS the absolute sweetest and i could tell that she was completely worn out and I hate that for her and i even instructed her to find another job! Several customers including myself offered to buy her dinner or something because we were angry and felt so sorry for her.
