My wife and I had a chance to try this new Ramen shop today. It was over all a fair experience. I ordered the pork Ramen and my wife had the Beef Ramen, we ordered the chicken sampler to try all the wing flavors, and an order of takoyaki because why not. I will start with the services. It just felt off from the start. The food was delivered in an odd order the ramen , then takoyaki, then the wings. It was more odd to see guest who ordered after us get their same wing order before us. This was to the point I thought they had forgotten our wing order. We were both done with the rest of our order before the wings came out. When the wings did show up they cleaned the table and did not bring out plates so we found ourselves finishing our meal over napkins. The staff seamed more interested in stocking the shelves and cleaning out the cabinets than us. Now the food, the ramen was good over all but the beef was dry, yes in the broth and dry. Other than that the ramen was good not great, good. The Takoyaki was pretty normal I would guess from a bag but I could be wrong. The wings which I was hoping would be the star of the show,, were not. The flavors were at best average the cheese flavor one's tasted like the powdered cheese that goes in popcorn at the movies. The others were all just average or worse. I really want to like this place. I love K Fried Chicken and have had it in Korea. This was just kind of an over all disappointment. Last the shop it's self it is very nice with a beautiful interior and they have Japanese tops and drinks for sale. I will end by saying that I try to not ever give less than 4 stars unless something is just unforgivable but I was tempted in this case. Even when comparing it to other similar restaurants in the area it was just below average in...
Read moreThe main things they advertise for is their chicken and ramen which are very good. They may not have that true authentic Korean and Japanese flavor but they are good enough to go back for more. Ramen doesn’t have true deep flavor that are sold in ramen restaurants in other major cities like New York, Philadelphia, California, etc but has good enough flavor to satisfy people who never had ramen before.
Korean corn dog taste bad and I didn’t like that they sprinkled sugar on it. Korean corn dogs taste much better in Korea and in Texas.
Kimchi doesn’t taste like kimchi at all, the flavor is completely weird and wrong, not even close to real kimchi!!! Their kimchi taste much worse than the horrible kimchi sold in some Korean restaurants that I’ve tasted before. Please research the proper recipe on YouTube and remake kimchi, there is so many good authentic kimchi recipe online you can learn from. I make kimchi my whole life, I know when kimchi taste really bad. It’s too bad Mississippi people who never had kimchi is going to think their kimchi is what kimchi is supposed to taste like! I’m horrified that this restaurant is leaving bad introduction of Korean kimchi to Mississippi people! If you can’t make kimchi flavor right, just buy a bunch of premade kimchi made by Korean company and NOT by Chinese company.
Interior design of the restaurant is very good and different and I like that this restaurant brings different kind of food to Mississippi.
The Korean hello and bye sound that the door makes when door opens and close is a creative touch!
I’m happy this restaurant brought Korean food to Mississippi but they need to improve the flavor to introduce proper taste of good Korean food to...

It appears that the brand has been thought out quite nicely. They have very nice boxes and bags for their to-go orders which look as nice as any other national brand.
I had the soy garlic chicken tenders with fried rice on the side and an order of rangoon.
The chicken tenders did not have the generous amount of sauce on them that is depicted in the pictures seen in the restaurant and on the menu but they were tasty. Perhaps they didn’t use as much sauce on them because it was a to-go order and they didn’t want it leaking out of the paper box.
The side of fried rice is just rice and egg. The amount of egg is minimal. The fried rice was "OK". It wasn’t bad, it just wasn’t something to write home to mom about.
The order also came with a very small side of pickled cucumber. It was about 2 tablespoons – just enough for a taste. it tasted fine.
The rangoon appeared to be freshly cooked and were very crispy even after the five minute drive home in the box. I suspect they would be even better when eaten fresh in the restaurant.
I didn’t eat in the restaurant, so I can’t comment on the quality of table service, but the employees at the counter where I ordered were very polite and friendly.
I am a huge ramen fan and will try their tonkatsu the next time I go by. Will update the review at that time.
Second visit:
Had tonkatsu ramen with black garlic oil, spring rolls, and gyoza. All were great. The only thing I would do differently is add chili oil to my...
