My wife told me that our dishwasher wasn't working. So I called the Home Depot, the store where we purchased it a few years ago for a repair referral. Kat fielded my call and was the perfect help. She asked several questions; including my name, phone number and address. I had a referral text before I even hung up the call with Home Depot. Immediately following my call with Kat, I received a call Enzo Chacin from Latin Appliances. He scheduled an appointment to look at my dishwasher the next day, between noon and 2 pm. He asked if I was home, which I was. He asked which model of Maytag dishwasher I had and told me where I could find the information. I told which model we owned. Enzo then asked for a description of the problem with the Appliance.
Today, I received a text from Enzo let me know he was 30 minutes from my home. That was at 12:19 pm. He arrived as he said in the text, however, it was in 20 minutes. Enzo identified the problem quickly as a bad water pump. He had the part on his truck already, I assume because he was prepared in advance, due to our conversation the day before. He discussed the cost of the part, prior to installation, getting approval before doing the work. That was something I appreciate. I gave him the "green light" to do the work. Enzo reiterated the told cost includes the service call as well as the cost of the part. I told him I understood and again gave my approval to do the job.
Enzo was totally professional and prepared to resolve the issue with my dishwasher. I will call him again the next time we have any issues. I will also recommend him to friends and family....
Read moreAfter contacting this company to see if they could fix my freezer I Agreed to Pay for them to come Look at it to tell me what's wrong And I expressed I didn't wanna pay a couple hundred just to end up buying a new one He explained to me the most I would pay is $75 for them to look at it if it wasn't worth trying to fix. After inspecting it, they told me that it was just the fan. They looked over everything else and told me that replacing the fan would fix the problem. I agree to this and paid around $250. dollars total. After they replace the fan I had my freezer plugged in for 2 days But when I came back to check it The inside of the freezer was Very hot. I called them up. They came back and looked at it. Told me if I wanted it fixed. It would be an extra $550. dollars. Then proceeded to try to sell me one of their refurbished freezers. I don't know if this is how they normally conduct business. But I felt like. They tried to just get as much money out of me as possible. I ended up buying a new freezer from lows and A two hundred and fifty dollar fan that goes inside of freezer i cant use. I chose to do business with them Because they're reviews were five stars but My experience with them was terrible. note: in response to your response some of what you say is a lie. I was told that because it was only plugged in for a few hrs it need time to cool up then it be working fine. if I know it had a chance to not work and need more things fix I would have payed the inspection fee and perched a new unit. but you took advantage of my lack of knowledge on...
Read moreCalled them to fix a dishwasher. Did a great and speedy job. Disposal wasn't working and I asked them to take a look at it just to see what the problem was, fully intending to use them to fix it if it was needed. Well turns out the top plug of my outlet wasn't working (that the disposal was plugged into) but the bottom one was. So he switched the plug, spent 30 seconds checking for leaks and charged me $90 for it. Like yeah I get it they have that as a flat diagnostic fee but seriously? That's absolutely ridiculous to charge that for switching the plug. I guess it's my "stupidity tax" for not thinking of that myself. So two stars. After the dishwasher I would have given them 5 star review and used them for all my appliance repair. But this ticked me off so much I don't think I will. I'll take the L and use someone else next time that won't take advantage of me like that.
Edit: Yes you did tell me the price for "fixing" the disposal before you looked at it. But you did not fix anything. You unplugged it and plugged it back in to a different plug. Technically yes, you diagnosed it and you have a flat diagnostic fee of $90 (you did not say it would be $150). But that's slimy business practice. You made a quick buck off of 30 seconds of "work" and a technicality. I paid the $90, you got your money. But I will never use you again.
Also the dishwasher you supposedly fixed has not properly worked since your tech was here. I'm going down to 1 star because we...
