A&W Restaurant — Restaurant in Magna

This is a KFC/ A&W chain and I was only able to order from KFC menu (mobile order only).

We were told we had to order via app and couldn't order at the front counter (were standing at the front counter register talking to the workers), okay they have policies so whatever, but when the app told us the food was ready for pick up, we went inside and they asked for the name of order multiple times and it wasn't ready or prepped yet. It didn't seem very busy in terms of customers around the location so I'm not sure what's going on.

I really like spicy chicken sandwiches and I think it's new here in the US for KFC, (Australia has a spicy chicken sandwich, called zinger, for years now) but I could be wrong.

The sandwich was not good, and was actually lukewarm for how "fresh" it was made and how long we waited to get it (double the time from when app saying it's ready). It has non-existent spice and was actually overpowered by the black pepper of the chicken skin. I double checked with my friend who doesn't eat spicy and he said the same.

I'm not going to start naming other local franchises/restaurants that had better spicy chicken sandwiches because every other place was better than this. I was sorely disappointed because AUS KFC zingers are ranked high for me.

Even if I want KFC or A&W (I actually came specifically to try A&W items too but couldn't order any since I had to use KFC app) again it will definitely not be this place even though I live 7 min walking...

We usally order from here when ever we come in to 'town' its about a 30-40min drive back home. Today we order a burger, some corn dog bites, a chicken sandwhich and a $5 fill up box. Are typical order. When we got home we were suprised by the quality of the chicken today, the sandwhich had little to no sauce (Nashville hot) and was under cooked this was sad because its my wifes top 3 chicken sandwhich. My $5 box was even worse though the breading was half cooked and it feel like putting my hands into a mixing bowl, it was also under cooked had pink spot on the outer layer where the breading wasnt cooked and the middle of the chicken was worse. Are burger and corn dog bites were perfectly fine. We called the store and talked to the manager and she wouldnt refund the two items because we wernt going to drive 30mins to prove our chicken items were undercooked. Unfortunate 2stars because it usally is good food but it only takes one mistake and poor resolution to lose a customer. If any one from this corp wants to reach out ill...

Service is way slow, we had to wait in a line off to the side. Poor guy in front of me was there before me and after me. My hamburger buns were cold for some reason which really took away from the burger. The Mac and cheese was barely warm. When they brought out the root beer there was no syrup in it so we asked for new ones. They said they didn't have any (even though it is "made in house") we didn't want any other soda (I'm not a big soda drinker and went there specifically for the a&w root beer) so we asked for ice cream instead. The manager put up a stink about it. I'm like, hey, I'm not the one who didn't keep on top of the root beer, which is literally the name of the restaurant. Won't be going back to this restaurant.
