ALDI — Local services in Mahoning Township

Had a terrible experience because of a misunderstanding. An associate acted inappropriately towards me. Made me feel like a criminal and honestly it was leading towards stereotyping me. I didn't like it at all. Contacted corporate, I have waited nearly a month and no one has contacted me. I definitely would recommend the store for its amazing prices and brands. The only thing I would say, is to be mindful you may have a horrible customer service experience if there is ever a misunderstanding or if you encounter one of the associates that likes to stereotype you. This experience honestly has opened my eyes to possible racism in my area. It truly hurts because I would not like to think that my town would have hate like this in their hearts at all. Don’t forget to bring a quarter and some bags. The quarter unlocks a shopping cart and yes you do get a quarter back when you return a cart. If you do forget bags, there are usually boxes that you can put your groceries. They also have bags to purchase. If you do a drive up order, you need to use their app. There is no phone number to call when you arrive and the only number listed for Aldi is an 800 number that is a recorded message with no other options to talk to anyone. If the app is not working, you’ll need to go into the store and find someone to bring out your order. We find an Aldi anytime we're out shopping, usually this one.

Aldi seems to genuinely care about the environment and their shoppers.

As a vegan shopper, I'm happy to find that they released some new "Earth Grown" veggie burgers and other vegan products to suit the growing trend.

I fell off the vegan wagon and had some McDonald's as I was eating the chicken, I realized that I'd much prefer a veggie burger and it would be way cheaper too.

Definitely check those out! Also, their vegetable prices are hard to beat, especially the picks of the week, though sometimes things are past their time but still on the shelf. (This doesn't bother me much, but maybe try to work on getting stuff fresher where possible) :D
