I absolutely hate phone shopping! Necessary evil and all that. It was however, time to stop procrastinating, ditch the ancient iPhone 7 and upgrade to something a little more snazzy and this century. I mustered up my courage, did my research and trotted off to the Lehighton Verizon store convinced the next 3 hours of my life would be fraught with stressful decisions and an overzealous commission hungry associate taking full advantage of my obvious ignorance to bully, cajole and up sell me into the latest and greatest guaranteed to make first contact with aliens cell phone and all its accessories and add ons. But wait! This was not the case at all though. Upon entry I was greeted immediately by a lovely young man named Christian who at no point tried to push the latest new fangled model in my face nor did he roll his eyes and sigh heavily when I asked questions about the different makes and models or when I shared my reticence when it came to giving up the beloved home button. With his help and in no time flat I settled on the iPhone 13 at which point he transferred everything off the Stone Age 7, installed the phone in its nifty new blue case, waited on two other customers simultaneously and never broke a sweat or gave impatient or substandard service to any of us. It was a great experience and a quick one too! I’m not one to write reviews but I really felt Christian earned a five star rating and I really appreciated his chill laid back yet very knowledgeable sales approach and I would encourage anyone faced with the daunting task of device upgrade to pay this young man a visit and finally get that new phone, You’ll be glad you did!! So I say, Thank you Christian, I hope Verizon gives...
Read moreMy husbands phone broke so he called to use the insurance to get a replacement. This was not a break he caused the phone just turned off and would not work. today 2/22 he received his replacement phone (phone arrived about 530) We spent about an hour and 45 minutes on the phone trying to activate the phone no luck. we needed a new sim card so at 650 we climbed in the car and went to the verizon store in hometown that at 6:56 the door was locked. thankful we found that the lehighton store was open to 8 so we drove there arriving at 730. when we arrived there was one couple with 2 children and another couple with 1 child and there was 1 worker. He worked between the 2 the customers and told us he would get to us as soon as he could. At a few minutes before 8 he finished with one customer and started to help my husband. Now you would think that this is a simple SIM card to activate but heck no like everything verizon it was not so easy. Jonathan the best worker verizon could have worked with my husband and the other couple to fix the issue. the other remaining couple left about 830. jonathan was in the phone with verizon support in what i have dubbed the loop of hell! This wonderful man Jonathan helped us having to go through fraud departments and the back and forth of the absolutely worst customer service on the phone with Verizon. Jonathan stayed with us. It and we left there at 10:15 note the store closed at eight and this young man Until we had this fixed Verizon, you are lucky to have him. He deserves more than you’re probably paying don’t lose him because he is your best

Read moreAfter giving a 5 star review to this store when I walked out the door, I am now advising that I would not recommend this facility to anyone. When I arrived home after completing my transaction, I noticed on my invoice that I had been duped into a charge for Redux Membership to the tune of $29.99 per phone on three phones. I declined all insurance upon arrival but my salesperson, Bo, never gave me the opportunity to decline this Redux service and NEVER explained it to me or pointed it out on the invoice! Instead he casually folded my receipt and placed it in our store bag. Why would I want a two year drying out service when I had already declined all other insurances?? It is a given that the Ready Go $49.99 charge per phone is a ripoff, but you know that up front. Sneaking this Redux membership for three phones on an invoice is inexcusable! I called the next day and talked to Pat the manager requesting a credit and cancellation of Redux, he said it should not be a problem but I needed to talk to Bo, who by the way never called me back. After getting the run around after a few more calls to the store over the next two days I got up with Bo who basically gave me no satisfaction and hung up on me. Why Pat passed the buck is still a mystery. As manager he should have handled this. I will never be back to this location and as a former AT&T customer will count the days until my Verizon obligation is over. My advice is find a carrier that employs honest, upstanding people in their...
