Camp Willow — Local services in Maine Township

I am so disappointed with Camp Willow. Shop at big name stores because they stand by their merchandise! I have been a loyal customer for 10+ years. I have never returned anything or complained in any way. The owner knows me by face if not by name. Last month I bought a casual cotton summer dress for full price. It was not on sale and I did not use a coupon. It was the same material as all the popular camis. After only wearing it twice it began to pill and the fabric became rough.

I brought it back with the receipt. The owner was out of town so I was asked to leave it for a week. I thought this was odd that the owner would go out of town and not really leave someone in charge. A week and a half later still no phone call so I stopped by. The owner was still gone so they called her and without even seeing it she said that my purse must have caused the pilling and that the best she would offer me was 50% in a credit because it was worn. Well of course it was worn, that is how I knew it was not wearing like you would expect anything of nice quality to wear. It appears to be the same material as camisoles that you find everywhere and these camis, even from Target and Old Navy, do not pill.

First, I don't carry a purse and second good material should not pill after 2 wearings. Principle of the matter I should not lose 50%. She portrays her store as high end merchandise, but high end stores stand behind their products. I am done with this "boutique." I know if I buy a dress at Nordstrom and it does not hold up they will offer a full refund.

This dress is still in Camp Willow's window. It is still full price. Beware of the cami dress. You will be disappointed, but...

I love Camp Willow, I have shopped there for years. They have beautiful clothing that you don’t see at other stores. They have a variety of styles, classic, vibrant, sporty & soft. There is something for everyone. They also carry several scents of Molinard perfume. My very favorite is the Johnny Was, my whole collection of Johnny was was bought at Camp Willow.
