Jay and his shop staff knew what they were doing. We got wetsuits and board rentals at a fair price.

Jay was pretty condescending and rude to my girlfriend. As she pulled out of the parking lot without hitting anything in her truck, he told me, "At least she's not a blonde." When sizing my girlfriend for a wetsuit, he made the comment, "If you were a fat girl, you'd want a 12, but you keep yourself in shape so you could be a 10". He made a big show of guiding her out of the shop parking lot with backing up and turning commands despite her neither asking nor needing help to exit a very normal parking lot. My wife and I went to Jeff’s yesterday to buy a paddle board and wet suits. I don’t think I’ve ever had a better experience buying anything at retail ever. First, when I asked how much the board was he said look it up online and he would match whatever I found. Then he took the time to explain everything telling us not to waste our time buying the expensive stuff. Once we purchased our gear he drove it to our home himself and again helped give us pointers on where to go and how to get the best experience from the gear. I decided to come back and write this review a year later (Nov, 2023) because the positive experience stayed with me. Jay was incredibly helpful, offering valuable tips on surfing, and pointing out what to watch for in the sea. His knowledge and passion for surfing were evident and greatly appreciated. He also suggested some fantastic surf films that I thoroughly enjoyed.
