So, here's the deal:
Their everyday prices are "Half of Half" the MSRP. So, if something has an MSRP of $40, you can expect it to be $10. Sometimes they even have great deals on top of that. For example, they might have 60% off a certain tag color or a certain tag color might be a set price (e.g., all tan tags under $18 are $0.99). You must sign up to be an "Insider" to receive these extras discounts, and they assure you they do not sell your information.
They are closed on Sundays and on Tuesdays, and they have new (or new-to-you) merchandise stocked every Wednesday. Therefore, Wednesday is the best day to shop.
This comes with one huge caveat:
Many of the items are customer returns or close-outs, and some are even damaged. You might get a good deal on a pair of new shoes, or you might get a good deal on some previously worn shoes. Also, it would be best for you to check your garments very thoroughly for holes and damage. You CAN get a good deal here, but look out for things like crossed-out brand names, samples, factory seconds and customer returns. Ask yourself, "Why did the customer return it?" Sometimes it truly is because the customer decided he/she simply didn't want it. However, sometimes there is very obvious damage or wear. Other times, the item just was part of a liquidation or close-out.
Keep in mind:
If you like resale shops or shopping at Goodwill, you'll probably love this place. The benefit of Half of Half is that you actually can buy new or very nearly new things here. If you are handy with a needle and thread, even better. I'm not, and even I have scored some great buys here--all in new or like-new condition. They really do get new things every week, and every time I'm here, I hear people remarking about how great the store is and how they wish they'd found it sooner--not kidding! Just be prepared to spend some time here. They have a...

I still love this place. I dont come here super often but I came today and I brought my 6 year old daughter with me. We were in the store for about an hour and we went to the kids section and quickly filled my arms with about 15 items from a wall of clothes that all of the clothes were a dollar each. Some clothes had visible stains or tears but we didn't get those. We carefully examined each item. The clothes we did get were extremely adorable. I also bought some stuff for me. 3 pair of pants , a sports bra , 2 nice shirts and a skort all for about 25 bucks. Im very impressed. I hate shopping. I even hated spending my time in there today but I am happy I did because I hate spending so much on clothes. 20 bucks for a single pair of pants is ridiculous. So to come here and get 3 pair that were each about 3 bucks made me happy.

I love this place. My partner , and brothers get name brand , new Calvin Klein underwear here for a dollar a pair, the last time I came here I got 4 pair of nice dress pants , no flaws they were all a dollar each. I've asked before and their merchandise comes from other stores , mostly returns or out of "style" . I bought a pair of cute black shoedazzle boots for 10$ I also got 3 maternity shirts here also , a dollar each. I feel their lingerie tends to be on the pricy side and some other stuff. When you go here you have to plan to go on a day when you have patience because there is so much merchandise in this store that it has to be HARD to organize it. They update their sales weekly, and when you go in there's always a piece of paper stating which tags colors on sale. The cashier's have been always friendly . Also , join the rewards program for cheaper prices and you get random sales ads for...
Read moreThey have lots of clothes, unfortunately it's not really by size, it says it is, but it's not. The hanger tags mean nothing, it doesn't accurately reflect the size the item is either. You also have to closely inspect the clothes for holes, ripped seams, staining, missing buttons or loops. After you go through all that you have to play figure out the price if it's this color and this much on the tag it's really this price. If you have patience (I didn't today) and are in an adventurous mood it could be a great hunt and seek for deals day, if you aren't in the mindset, a little frustrating shopping experience. I did walk out with some shorts for me and a couple pieces for my kiddo. I may try again, now that I know what I would be walking into when the mood strikes for a hunt a deal down. Also, they didn't have a huge section for plus, which I feel more comfortable in, but they did have some. ...
