I purchased a recliner at the end of 2023, and it was delivered second week in February of this year. When I walked into the store, the salesperson, Nancy, sat me in a few chairs that were too tall for my 5'2" height and wasn't sure there were any chairs that would fit me until she asked someone else. She didn't offer me the option of getting the remote on the left side of the recliner (I'm left-handed), and when I read about that option later and phoned her, she said the chair was already in production and it was too late. I don't remember her apologizing for this oversight. That's not a big deal, but what I'm especially disappointed in was that when I walked in on a cane and explained my severe arthritis, she didn't offer me the option of the foam cushion seat upgrade, and now I'm struggling to get out of my recliner because the seat is low and soft. She did tell me about the "lift chair" option but not the foam cushion upgrade option. I took my son into the store a few weeks ago, and the salesperson (Patty) explained all the options you can get when you purchase a recliner. I wish I would have gotten Patty when I ordered my chair as she spent a lot of time with us explaining in detail all of the options that are available If you are considering purchasing a recliner, make sure that the salesperson is as thorough as Patty is and ask a lot of questions about all available upgrade options! These recliners are well made, but you still need a thorough salesperson to evaluate you and your needs so that they can recommend the chair and options that are best for you. Update to my review: I phoned the manager of this store, Kyle, and asked for a call back two weeks ago - he never called me back to try and find a solution for me. After speaking with Comfort Care and going back into the store, I got Natalie, and she was wonderful. I sat in both the chair with a foam cushion and a high-base chair. I ordered a high base for my chair, which will boost me up 1 1/2" so that I can comfortably get out. Read moreThey were very helpful helping me pick out my furniture and the accessories. However, after the sale I’ve had a few issues. We live approximately two hours away from the store and told them we would gladly pick up the furniture when it came in to the warehouse. They called and we schedule a day for my items to be delivered to the store so we could come and pick it up. They then called me a couple days before we were scheduled to pick our items up I was told that they somehow I had forgot to send the rug pad I ordered that it was left at the warehouse and not delivered to the store and wanted to postpone our pick up date. I told them that we had rented a trailer to pick up the items and I did not want to reschedule. I was told not to worry that they would make sure the rug pad would be there. They assured me the rug pad would be there. I go to pick up as scheduled and the rug pad was no where to be found. I was then told they would call the warehouse again and have it directly shipped to me. That was a month ago. I called the store again inquiring about my missing rug pad and was told they had to re order it and it would be around the first week of April or so before it came in. I know a rug pad doesn’t seem like a big deal but it is the principle. The store had no problem telling me I really needed to purchase the rug pad when i bought the rug because it would be very important in keeping my hardwood floor from being damaged by the rug and no problem charging me for it and telling me my bill had to be paid in full for my items to be shipped to me. Read moreWe visited the store Friday, February 23, 2024 and so pleased we did. We were assisted by Sierra who was extremely knowledgeable about La Z Boy products, as well as their available options. So looking forward to receiving our new furniture pieces and feel confident Sierra will ensure we have quality furniture La Z Boy is known for. Thank you for all you’re help! Picked up the furniture April 2024 that was under stuffed with folding, bunching and needed more stuffing. Nancy said they could replace backs, but after calling Store manager Kurt, said I can take the furniture or not and pay a 30% restocking fee. They set me up with ServeCO and Premier Furniture Consultants who ordered a huge box of stuffing and a replacement back which is still in my home. Then, they cancelled their contract with ServeCO and Premier Furniture Consultants to add more stuffing to my furniture. I spoken to numerous customer service personnel, the last one being Matthew, who said they were going to do nothing because it meets "industry standards". After four months of setting in the two sofa's costing over $7,000.000 the backs are sunken in due to the lack of stuffing! Before you purchase, I would recommend reviewing the Better Business Bureau and look at all of their complaints and how Kurt, the store manager and Nancy, sales associate have treated their customers! I would NOT recommend purchasing from this store...I will be filing a claim with the BBB and Missouri State Attorney...
