We were blown away by Shawn during every step of our home buying process. We first met Shawn as a listing agent on a home we were interested in renting, and were immediately impressed by his professional approach and extensive knowledge of the Manhattan Beach market. When we were ready to start looking for our own property to purchase, we were hopeful that he would want to work with us, as the research/info we did on him lined up perfectly with our first-hand experience.

We came into town for one day of house hunting. Shawn took us to 8 different homes, with pretty much every one checking all the boxes we discussed. He also got to know my husband and I really well over a very short period of time - what motivated us, priorities, things we cared about or didn't. He was incredibly proactive, on top of everything, never needed a reminder on any to-dos and was a trusted representative for us. During the inspection phase, I took to calling him "Detective Dugan" as he helped us dig deeper on the items that deserved a bit more attention and ensure we had done our due diligence to know exactly what we were getting ourselves into.

Just when we expected to clink our champagne glasses and say thank you/goodbye to Shawn, he took the time to help us with a number of the post-closing items that were so important to get done/wrapped up prior to the current owner moving out and were really hard for us to do from out of state.
