Metlox — Local services in Manhattan Beach

We had lunch at Nick's Manhattan Beach. The place was crowded due to the long weekend but we were seated on time. We tried the asparagus fries and shrimp taquito appetizers. Though both appetizers were fried, the fried tortilla did not hide the fabulous shrimp taste. We ordered the seafood enchiladas, pan seared sea bass and San Francisco cioppino for entrees. These were the same entrees we had on our last visit here, the seafood are fresh and cooked very well. The Metlox is a nice, modern looking outdoor mall that hosts everything from spas to hotels to restaurants to clothing stores. The center of the Metlox area has a beautiful water sculpture which is often filled with little kids splashing around. There is ample seating outside should you want to relax, parking directly below the location, and even a chimney/fireplace as a homage to the Metlox Pottery company that sat in this space before being closed in 1988.

Kids in the back are all tweakers, dont go to the stair well unless you wanna get high off second hand smoke. Lemonade is overpriced but tbh mac and cheese slaps.
