They screwed up on a special order purchase that I payed for 2 yrs ago. I ordered. No they ordered it in May. A screened in patio porch. The were more than happy to take the money. Said it would be in the mail less than a week. Wanted my money back three months later when I never got it. They would no give it. Summer is over. It arrives in September. Seasoned is over. Put it on the garage shelf until yesterday. Attempted to set it up. No top to it. The store manger in Manitowac Wi. Chris, eventually said screw you. We are not going to try to make it right. Indifferent SOB never will set foot in Manards again. I never even mentioned that I naught 5000.00$ in customized windows through them a month earlier. They showed up late. One was broke. Read moreThis is a mixed review. On Sunday, December 18, around 2 o’clock I went to the service desk to return a second shovel. I couldn’t find the receipt. Didn’t have the receipt in the computer. I don’t remember if I paid cash. The young lady at the desk with long hair was very nice. She asked the floor supervisor behind her about what she do when I don’t have a receipt. That floor supervisor had the gall to say we don’t even carry that shovel in the store. Then the nice girl, had to let her know she already scanned it and it was their product. As if. Then the floor supervisor said I’ll go look at the tapes and brought out a video capture of me exchanging the first shovel. I said, did you look for the second shovel that I purchased the same day at the checkout?. She was rude. Made me feel like a thief. Just saying it again, the young lady with long dark hair at the cash register was wonderful. It was the floor manager, young lady, with glasses and blondish hair. Read moreI’ve started shopping more and more at Lowe’s. An old friend (male) told me to give Menards another shot because he is so happy with them. Last night BEFORE 7pm I called and asked for an order to be ready for pick up by 10 am the next day. I was told no problem. It was three items but several of each item. 4 hinges- I told him the number 20 posts- I told him the number 16 fence panels-I told him the number When I called at 9 AM they said there was no problems and everything was fine. Crew shows up at 9:30 to pick up items. Nothing has been pulled but the four hinges!!!! I am now three hours behind on this job AND have to pay for the labor because of Menards and their failure to do what they said they would. NOTHING but the hinges were pulled!!!!
