Extremely friendly staff! I went in to get an estimate for a implant, and was blown away with the professionalism of the office. I was able to explain to Dr. Nguyen and the staff that I am on disability and was having to pay out of pocket. I was treated with respect and not pressured into doing procedures that I could not afford to have done, and was not treated any differently after explaining my situation (which was the case at many other offices I visited). I was so comfortable in the office that I decided to start my implant procedure here. I was able to have the first half of my dental surgery done at the time of my visit. Dr. Nguyen and her assistants were fast in the placement of my screw, and her stitches are so cleanly done! I would absolutely suggest you go see Dr. Nguyen and the amazing staff at this location if your looking for QUALITY and FRIENDLY dental work in Manor.
11/30/18 - Revisited the office today to have my stitches removed and bring my mother in for a procedure. Margaret is such a pleasure to deal with every time I come in, and everyone else is so friendly as well. I was blown away with how well my mother and I were treated (she is very nervous about the dentist) and am very happy I chose dds to do my dental care.
The other dental offices in manor do not compare, come here if you need dental care!
4/16/19 - Went into the office today to get my abutment placed after the healing of the initial screw placement. Staff was super friendly as always, even remembered me despite me having not been in for a few months! The uncovering of my implant site was done quick and painlessly, and looking at the site in the mirror now a couple hours later my gums look so undisturbed and happy despite being cut into. The impressions for my implant were taken today swiftly and without any hassle. I was told it would be give or take 4 weeks or so before my crown is ready! Overall, I'm still very happy and impressed with Dr. Nguyen and the rest of the staff here at DDS. I'm looking forward to my visit to finally have this process completed!
9/17/20 - After having my implant finished for a few months, I can come back and say I absolutely LOVE it! Everyone did such a great job of helping me match teeth color, and my implant is so comfortable! I'd say it took me about a month to get used to the feeling of having something in the socket, but after that it was easy going! Most of the time i've forgotten the implant isn't even a real tooth! I'm so grateful to the staff for helping me, and giving me my smile back.
I still highly recommend you come here for any dental care you need done if you are living in manor or...
Read moreStarted my process in March 2021. Received my Real fit 3D dentures a year later in March of 2022. Removal of teeth went well but have not been able to get a good fit to this day. When I first received my new dentures which took a year, the fit was off. At my fitting of receiving my new dentures the doctor filed on the teeth on the right bottom to get a proper fit. When I complained they still weren’t right the doctor stated if she filed anymore it would ruin the dentures and she would have to charge me for a brand new pair. This was the day of receiving my newly made dentures so I left with a brand new pair of dentures with some teeth filed down on one side and dentures that didn’t fit properly. Little over a year later I am still trying to get a good fit on the bottoms. Whenever I eat I get lots of food trapped between my gums and dentures and have had to go in to have both sides on the bottom denture filed down as they literally were getting imbedded in my gums and were cutting up my gums. My right side still rubs on my gum on the bottom in the back but I’m afraid to have them filed anymore. I understand it is common to get some food trapped but not like this. I did my research and went with the real fit because they supposedly have an exceptional fit and are most like real teeth. I have had nothing but problems with mine and regret having the procedure done. I did express my concerns and asked if I could have a new pair made that perhaps would fit better and was told they could make me a new pair but it would be a cheaper version not the Real fit 3 D that I paid for and that I would have to pay something and turn in my current pair even though the original Real fit 3 D that I purchased have never fit correctly. I could not afford to pay for another pair especially one of a cheaper quality so I have been dealing with what I have. I did purchase the extra insurance so still go for cleanings and checkups and now today will need to go in because a housing unit fell out and my dentures do not snap in correctly. Although staff have always been very kind, I am very disappointed with the product I received as I have had nothing but problems from day one of receiving my dentures. The reason for the...
Read more3rd update 2024: The staff that I’ve come in contact with, has been upgraded including the Doctor. I’m drawing a blank on Doc’s name but all I can say is, he’s amazing. Truly makes you feel comfortable and explains the process with you. The staff has gotten so much better.
UPDATE: it's been a year now. I have lowered my initial star rating. Staffing has become difficult for this office. Front staff is also rude. I've recently just received my final pair. This part is my fault. I drug my feet. However, after only a few weeks one of the teeth feel off, a front one at that. I immediately called the office. This is on a Monday. They told me they didn't have anything until Wednesday. That wasn't going to work as I speak with clients daily face to face. I asked if I could speak to Ashley the manager to see if she could hopefully help me sooner. The receptionist said she'd call me back later that day. Well I didn't hold my breath as I'm already aware they’re short staffed. So I got some super glue and fixed it temporarily until they decide to call me back or it falls off again. It's pretty sad I spent over 10k and it's paid in full to not have that perfect smile.
I had my free consultation. The staff was so helpful and straight forward as to what I need done. I had an appointment the day prior with another client that was 30x more expensive with similar advice. So, I new this was the place i wanted to do business with. The day of my appointment I arrived early for prep work, and prescribed my medicines. I took the prescriptions to be filled and return for my actual appointment a little later that day. The dental assistant was very helpful in helping me understand, and relax. Dr.Amy came in. She had to administer the oral nerve numbing stuff. Ouch but very necessary. She did this as quickly as possible. Once Dr. Amy confirmed I was good to go she went to work. WOW is all I can say. No pain, and so darn quick. It was amazing. I am in recovery at home. Following (most) rules and so far so good. Post op appointment tomorrow. I’m sure everything will go as wonderful as today did. Should anything change between now and 6 months I’ll update. For now this place would get 10 stars for customer services, 10 stars...
