I am a food photographer and I was on assignment to photograph the food at Pho Yes. I was impressed right off the bat when they started bringing the dishes out. Every dish was plated so beautifully! The food was fresh , piping hot and I was definitely wanting to try some of the dishes I was photographing. At the end of the shoot the owner offered for me to eat and try the dishes. YES! I was so excited , as I had my eye on the salt and Pepper chicken wings and the Orange chicken. The Orange chicken was hands down the best plate of Orange Chicken that I have ever seen and the flavor did not disappoint! It was so crispy and flavorful even after sitting for over and hour. I had the left overs for breakfast this morning and was happy all over again. I waited Until I got home last night to taste the Salt and Pepper Chicken, as I was stuffed from eating at the restaurant. I LOVED it! I can usually figure out exactly what is in a dish, down to the spices, but I am still trying to figure out how they made chicken that still had crispness the next day! It was wonderful. I highly recommend this place! The owner doesn't know I am posting this review. I was just so blown away by their food that I had to come on and share it. It's in Manor, but only 15 minutes from I35 and Hwy 290. I will be going back ! It's...
Read moreUpdate 12.28.22. Tried combo fried rice on 12/22 and it changed my world. Came today 12/28 for more combo fried rice & vietnamese egg rolls. You guys comped me veggie egg rolls to try due to my review and that's awesome, I hadn't tried those before. Recommendations: Combo fried rice is 10/10, I promise you'll never go back to your regular fried rice order. Vietnamese egg rolls and fish sauce, always recommend. Veggie egg rolls with sweet and sour are delicious, would get them again. I'll be torn in the future on which egg roll appetizer to get. If you're with a family, get both sets and try them both. They won't disappoint.
I eat here often. Today I got egg roll vermicelli and was so excited to get home and eat my lunch, you guys forgot the glorious fish sauce that gets poured on top. I’m bummed because now it’s dry and relatively flavorless. But the egg rolls are great and portion size is great. If you’re on the fence, give this place a try. Just double check you’ve got the sauce to pour on top before you drive away. I have also tried and can recommend: shrimp fried rice, pork fried rice, Mongolian beef. chicken vermicelli, and their pork dumplings. Definitely the...
Read moreWe have been coming here for a long time and the food is usually great but the quality has been decreasing lately. Under normal circumstances this place would get a 4 or 5 but due to the quality of food and service response received from the manager sadly deserves a 1 star. We usually order the general tso or pho, lately it's been the general but the past two times the chicken just hasn't been good, they have been very soggy and the cuts of chicken are very large. The fried rice is hardly fried rice just brown rice with soy sauce. It used to be served the regular way with vegetables and egg but now it's just plain brown rice. The spring rolls were definitely not fresh. Almosy like it was just leftovers. It was just a very disappointing order all around. I didn't even finish my food usually that's not a problem. When we called to see what could be done they just said "oh I packed it and it was fresh" Wouldn't even really listen and acknowledge our concerns. In the end they only offered to remake the food and we could drive back to pick it up. In the end they just offered a free spring roll order next time we go there, if we...
