Absolute Trash - I called in this morning after a separate location advised the truck I wanted to rent was available here and could be held from 20 minutes to an hour to allow for me to go from one location to the other. After picking up the phone and immediately hanging up without a word TWICE the line finally picked up but not to assist me, rather to place me next to a speaker and after over ten minutes of that I start hearing a customer approach regarding a vehicle to move and how funny the guy who couldnât bother to say hello for over 20 minutes and THREE calls decided to kindly offer the ONLY flatbed available while I got the pleasure of hearing it while trying to get his attention on the line. I picked up another phone and called management where I was faced with someone who clearly doesnât know the fundamentals of customer service either. After sounding very annoyed at my asking what she could do to help me and offering very reluctantly and with a tone of her own to call another store for me, she decided hysterically she didnât âlike MY toneâ 𤥠Iâd love to provide a name but the âmanager Sarahâ said I could not have it for my feedback - never heard that policy before and honestly sounds like a cover up and pretty shady. A simple âwe canât take this call or idk DONT ANSWER if your not going to actually answer is all it would have taken for this not to turn into what it did. BASIC COURTESY TO ALLL CUSTOMERS. LITERALLY GO ANYWHERE ELSE and save yourself...

I recently rented a truck from Home Depot for a short 90-minute job, expecting a straightforward experience. What I got instead was a bait-and-switch.
When I picked up the truck, it was not full on gas. I immediately flagged this at the counter and was told, âJust return it at the same level.â Fair enough. I returned it exactly as instructedâsame fuel level.
Then I was hit with a $58 fuel surcharge on a $35 rentalâalmost double the cost of the rental itself. When I brought it up, the response was basically a shrug and âwe can give you store credit or you can leave.â No refund. No accountability. Just a take-it-or-leave-it attitude.
I didnât need store credit. I needed them to honor their own rental terms and fix the mistake. Instead, I was toldâquite literallyââyou can leave the store.â
Home Depot, if youâre going to rent out trucks, either fill the tank or be honest about the fuel policy. And train your employees to care when your customers get overcharged.
Final verdict: I paid $93 for an hour and a half in a beat-up rental truck, with no resolution offered beyond hollow apologies and a useless credit. Iâll be looking...

Walked up towards the regular cash register cashier just stood there ignored me so I went over to the self serve cash register, and started ringing myself up when I went to go pay for my stuff she asked if I scanned everything. I said I did she can check if she liked, and I told her if she was doing her job I wouldnât of had to scan my own stuff she wouldâve been scanning it and then she wouldnât have to doublecheck. She told me to mind my own. I told her that I wanted to talk to her manager, and she walked away, taking my basket with my stuff and ignoring me. Called for a manager to come waited and waited no manager showed up. I had to go and find the manager the manager. Alex said that he did go over there, but I was standing with the other associate that called He went. Donât think I will be going to Home Depot Garden center again. So if this girl is working, look out, sheâs not a very nice cashier. She probably should...
