Valvoline Instant Oil Change — Local services in Manor

I am writing to express my significant dissatisfaction with the service I recently received at valvoline in Manor TX.

Upon arrival, I observed a seemingly casual atmosphere among the staff. I informed them that I was there to get an oil change. Unfortunately, a few days later, I discovered oil leaking from my car onto my driveway.

I promptly contacted the service center, and a representative named Trish advised me to bring the vehicle back. Upon returning, the staff suggested the leak might be due to a gasket. I inquired how a gasket issue could arise immediately after an oil change performed at the facility. Regrettably, no one could provide a clear answer, nor could they definitively confirm if the gasket was indeed the problem. The overall impression was that the staff lacked sufficient experience and automotive knowledge, and I did not see any certified mechanics on duty.

The following day, with the leak persisting, I called your customer care center again and spoke with Brittany. I was informed that manager contact information is not provided and that callbacks are within two business days, regardless of the urgency. This response indicated a clear lack of concern for resolving my vehicle's issue in a timely manner.

As of today, I have not received any further communication. It is unacceptable that after receiving an oil change at the establishment, my car is now leaking oil, and no effective steps have been taken to address the problem. I am very concerned about potential damage to my vehicle due to...

I brought in my 2018 Ford Mustang ecoboost in to get an oil change on June 17th, 2025. The tech did not drain the old oil out of my car and overfilled my oil by adding oil into the vehicle. This led to over $4000 of damages. The oil leaked into my catalytic converter and fouled out my spark plugs. I put in a claim and to this day I have not been reimbursed for the damages they caused. They tried to force me to drive my car into their shop so they could be the ones in control of what work got done and I refused. They can't even do a basic routine maintenance job without messing it up. Why would I think they could do a repair when they are not a repair shop. I would not suggest this place to anyone. Not only do they do bad work but they also refuse to take ownership over their responsibility when they don't do the right think. Don't walk run from this...

Complete lack of concern. Left oily greasy handprints on the hood and fender. The oil filter was dropped, resulting in huge oil spillage on the undercarriage. Oil was dribbled across motor during refill. When we asked them to clean it up, their solution (by the apparent lead) was to spray water (on oil!) across the top of the motor. Some of the basic maintenance checks were not completed. The concern for professionalism was absent. The disregard for the care of our vehicle shows either a discriminatory judgement on us, or just plain unprofessional. 1 person attempted to clean after himself and all he did was check the oil level after refill. 30 minutes later and oil is still dripping...
