I buy from Best Buy from time to time never had a issue till three years ago when geek squad started charging me for service I did not order and I would call and thay would credit my account. In February 2025 thay charged my card $54.11 I called city bank and geek squad trying to get this charged reimbursed Geek squad said ok thay would take care of it that was in March eight days after the charge was issued i have called every week it's now August and geek squad said it's been more than 30 days thairs nothing thay can do ,and city bank will not take the late fees or interest off even thow I have been calling citybank and thair people have been helping me by calling geek squad and talking to them as well. Last occurrence was my 2 or 3 yr old computer got pierced by a tack and ruined the screen’s resolution (mostly, but not fully, a black screen). When geek squad hooked it up to their monitor it worked on their screen. He said they wouldn’t be able to fix it because it would be too much work and difficult to repair what was ruined. Recommended I purchase a new computer or just hook it up to another monitor or tv screen. Which I did not think made any sense. I also did not understand why GEEK SQUAD couldn’t repair something so simple. Always disappointed with the Mansfield location. Needless to say, I took it to a computer repair shop and got my computer back the next day for 100 bucks. Thank goodness for computer shop pros. Read moreIt's been more than 6 weeks, and the service is unbelievably terrible! I can't believe i actually signed up for the membership. The 1st visit was a diagnosis for which I promptly paid and trustingly said yes to repair my 85 inch tv. The next 3 visits, they kept showing up with the wrong part each a week apart! I politely accepted their excuses.Well, the last 2 weeks have been no shows for appointments they made and did not honor. Keep in mind i took off work for 2 full days when they said they would show up between 7am to 7pm. Not even a courtesy call! If you have options to look elsewhere, do! I'm not sure the membership is a good idea if this is how they treat...
