To preface, I have been to Michelin starred and upscale sushi places, and this is one of my guilty pleasure places. With that being said however, a lot of things could be done better here. My favorite roll is the baked salmon roll and I will always come back for it, regardless of the presentation. The spider roll was good but the pieces are huge, (not a bad thing necessarily, but every bite had a different taste and it would get quite messy), and presentation not very clean and sloppy . The tempura sauce that came with the Veggie Tempura was tasteless and I had to pour in soy sauce to get the sodium and acidity to par. The Sashimi dinner was not my favorite. Pieces that were thickly cut, very fishy tasting, and tasted like it was full of water content. Over use of daikon tsuma to fill up the empty white space on a huge plate. Overall a very mediocre sushi spot but at this price point I'm just nitpicking. It is a wonderful spot for families to unwind and enjoy some sushi, but it could be a bit cleaner. The wine/drink menu at the tables were unbelievably sticky and the whole restaurant just had a whole sticky feel. My wife who usually went to old Suzushii in '17 said that the quality had declined over the past few years. The service was kind and attentive, however, when we were sat at the table we were left with a ordering menu from a previous guest that was marked with their orders. Overall a mediocre experience, however the one thing that will always bring me back is that baked salmon roll.

I want to start by saying the sushi itself was great, but the experience will keep me away from here. I arrived at 9:06PM looking forward to curbing my sushi craving. I was looked at kind of odd when I first walked in, and that should have been my cue to leave. I was denied green tea because "it was too late," but I happily got water. After a couple of suggestions, I ended up trying the ultimate roll and the fire dragon roll. The fire dragon came out first, and halfway through, I wanted ginger and Wasabi, which I expected to come with it and ended up waiting until the second roll was delivered (5 minutes) to ask. The whole time I was there, my waitress was filling all of the bottles of soy sauce in the corner close to the sushi bar and never checked on me again. Meanwhile, trying to eat my role, another employee sprays the table next to me to do one final clean and mists me with the cleaner. For almost a minute, the mist lingered as she did the next table right next to me as well. I felt like such a nuisance being there so I just wanted the check. I never got another check-up until I set down my utensils and stared waiting. At this point, my appetite was gone from the embarrassment, and I got the check and left at 937. I understand there are responsibilities, but just close at 9 or don't seat if customers are that big of a burden. This place is probably good in the day or not an hour before closing, but I won't be going back. The sushi was good, though probably a solid 7/10.

Excellent staff, amazing food, decent prices. Informative staff, servers are passionate and make sure you are well taking care of. Manager has a bubbly personality and the whole staff makes you feel valued and apart of the family. The sushi guys are a blast! If you sit in front of them they hold conversations with you, and make you laugh. The way the food is plated is to beautiful to ruin, but it doesn't last long bc the food is to good to let it sit without diving right in! Perfect place for a date night! The love boat is perfect I'll place pictures to show you! They also have food rolls, if you see any roll with something you don't want, they have no problems substituting it out. My go to restaurant for sushi in Mansfield! I also placed a photo of the valentine's roll, is a special they do for holidays and special events.

I was excited to try this place as my friend had been many times and raved about it. The Sushi was excellent as well as the spring rolls and the drinks were strong, however the entree was sub-par. After the first bite of the pineapple shrimp fried rice it tasted odd. I took one additional bite to see if it perhaps it was that portion. It still tasted funny and I did not eat anymore. When the waitress did come back to check I told her that the rice tasted strange and if she could take it off. There was a language barrier so she got the manager. The manager came and said she could not take it off because they were a small business and if they did that it could put them out of business. She said if you had only taken one bite and told us right away I could have. When I pointed to the plate and asked her if it looked like I took more than 2 bites she said well I can take yours off but not my friends because she said it looked as if she had taken more than 2 bites but she had only mixed hers together because she had shrimp and chicken and offered her 50% off. She asked if the bills were together and we said separate. The waitress brought the bill back as one and when we told her it was separate she went and split them but then said she could no longer take my fried rice off but couod give is each 50%. I told the waitress the manager told me she was taking mine off and the waitress argued with me that the manager didn't say that. So she originally said since I only took 2 bites she would take it off but because the bill was split it could now be 50% off each. I asked so I am paying for something I didn't eat and I don't like. I asked them to remake it, which she said they did but I believe they just doctored up the original one and brought it back. Because it doesn't make sense to not take it off my bill but remake the whole dish which was 12.00. To make it, it cost about 4.50 so if you truly remade it you spent what you charged me at 50% off. I have never been somewhere that if you don't eat more than 2 bites and you don't like it that they won't take it off or offer something different in place of. Customers aren't always right but if 2 people says something taste off maybe it is your cook. I will...

Let me tell you this was the ABSOLUTE WORST service I’ve received anywhere I’ve been. My family came in there with (six of us with a baby) and I get a call saying our table was ready. After we get seated the Hispanic woman (our waitress) says she’ll be taking our orders. She takes our drink orders and appetizers first. 10 minutes passes we still don’t have our drinks. Our appetizers come (before our drinks) out and I have to get up and walk over to her as she’s talking to co-workers and doing other stuff to say “Can we get our drinks please?” When she brings our drinks after 20 minutes of waiting she takes our orders and writes them down. 45 minutes goes by with no food we ordered. Nobody came to check on us and the group of five Caucasian women that came in 30 minutes after us had already be served their food and drinks. When the waitress finally brings sushi to the table she brings sushi NOBODY in my party ordered. We asked for a squid salad and she brings out a seaweed salad. In fact she brought twice in a row. I’m over here thinking “you wrote the orders down how do you not know what we ordered?”. She looks at us like she’s irritated with us because she kept bringing the wrong orders to the table. Keep in mind the 90 minutes we were in there waiting to eat nobody checked on our table other than the initial order. At 9:30 I got up and told them we were leaving because we were not pleased with the service and it’s been 90 minutes with no food after we ordered over an hour ago. They didn’t even offer to “comp” the drinks and appetizers, nobody inside apologized. None of the employees offered any type of accommodations for their actions. BEWARE before you go here and waste time/money because I’m telling you people that got there 30 minutes after us were eating and leaving while we were still waiting for our food. This was egregious behavior and terrible customer service on their part. If they can’t properly train their staff then they shouldn’t be operating as an open business. Absolutely disgusting display of customer service...

This was my first visit to the new location, I sat at the sushi bar and was asked by a soured faced fat waiter if I wanted something to drink, said yes, hot sake. He came back and said small or large? Came back with cold sake. Sent it back, had a waitress tell me : hurry up we will not take your order after 7: 15 pm. I have no menu said I, a muscled wanna be GQ model waiter came and said what do you want to order and walked away, the sushi chef HOP, asked me if I wanted water, napkins, cutlery. Hop took my order and the other waiter who thinks he's too good looking never came back , no water, no napkins, no service. Finally the food came, ONE bowl of rice with three types of raw fish, 4 pieces of cucumbers $14.00. Asked if they had sea urchin? We had last week, said the older sushi chef. While eating and taking notes began to watch and listen to the staff, the woman at the register kept a man waiting for the 20 minutes it took me to eat my dinner, she kept yelling at the kitchen staff : " so, it's my fault! I forgot the other order" as I left a family who was leaving stopped up front and they complained about : lousy service, one of the members never got their food, and was treated badly when she asked it was put in a box. "We won't come back" is the last I heard of a family of 6. OVER PRICED, RUDE, INEPT, AND OBNOXIOUS STAFF, SPECIALLY THE MALES. DON'T FALL FOR GIMMICKS MY FELLOW TEXANS, THIS IS NOT JAPANESE ATMOSPHERE OR CULTURE, THIS ARE A RAG TAG, BUNCH OF CHINESE, KOREANS, VIETNAMESE, MALAYSIANS, AND TWO WHITE BOYS IN THE KITCHEN, DO NOT RECOMMEND, WILL NOT GO BACK AND HAVE GONE ON ALL MEDIA TO EXPOSE THEM. THERE ARE BETTER ASIAN...
