LADIES BEWARE!!! This morning I went to return some materials and two men were asked by management to help me unload it. I climbed in the back of my van to help situate the items and one of them asked if I was returning all of it. I told him yes and explained that they had sold me some damaged bags of mortar in the pallet that I ordered. One employee who I finally learned was named "D'Forest" mumbled "It wasn't me smart mouth." I didn't really register the insult but immediately responded with an apology because I knew it wasn't him that personally sold it to me. I then explained that some of the boxes of tile were also damaged and he then said, "I didn't sell you that either smart mouth." At this point I looked up at him confused and wanted to make sure he didn't have turrets or some other obvious problem because it was highly unusual behavior considering I wasn't at this point upset or confrontational! I asked him if he was speaking to me. He didn't respond at first so I asked him again if he called me a "smart mouth?" He replied with "you didn't hear nothin!" I got very angry and told him to back away from my van and get his manager. He and the other guy who remained silent refused to back off. I had to scream at him and it took management hearing me scream for at least a minute to come running out. ONLY at that point he backed off! I was completely in shock and VERY upset! I pulled out my phone to start making notes and asked the manager, Cindy, to give me his name. She refused to tell me his name so I told her I was calling the police! She kept telling me to calm down and I let her know she could tell my husband to calm down when he got there to handle the employee! She then accused me of threatening her employee and started to call the police on me! I had already called them to help as the guys would not let me out of my van and spoke to me in a very threatening manner! They arrived to help but there is no crime in being a jerk even though he refused to back away from me and my vehicle which was pulled into their store. It was all extremely upsetting and unnecessary! I would NEVER recommend going to this store if you are a female and ESPECIALLY do not interact with ANY of the employees there as anyone who would speak to a woman like that for NO reason is DANGEROUS! Not ONE person...even out of the 5 who rushed to see what was happening apologized for the behavior of the employee! I could not believe what just happened and if I had not started yelling at him at the top of my lungs to get away from me....who knows what would have happened! JUST BEWARE!!! If you want a bigger selection and friendlier service, shop at GED's in Arlington! There are no scary men who are angry about doing their job there and I have used them for many many years! I wish I had never purchased any...

Read moreMy experience shopping for backsplash tile for my kitchen remodel was a wonderful experience at Floor & Decor, Mansfield, TX, Store #336 because of the exceptional customer service I received from employee “Brett”. Brett, a tile specialist in the main section of the store, went out of his way to assist me in the area of the store with backsplash tile. He was extremely knowledgeable, polite and patient with my multitude of questions and he is impeccable with mathematical calculations. Brett is a stellar employee with the best customer service skills I believe I have ever experienced (and I worked in the customer service industry for many years). I hope his manager, the store’s GM, etc. all see this review- and that Brett gets promotions and moves up quickly within your company. It would be well deserved. Thank you for making my experience great. A shout out to Iris at the North Richland Hills store, too. She was also extremely...
