this is not the move for Mexican went on a weekday night, enchiladas had been sitting in the pan so long the bottoms felt like chewing plastic, asking for salsa was like trying to send an sos on a deserted island to the only plane you’ve seen all week, to be fair asking for anything felt like this.
Ordered margaritas and beers both came as if someone was taste testing for poison and took the largest sip, the liquid was so far from the rim it looked like someone with Parkinson’s walked it to the table.
Menus came maybe 15-20 mins after sitting. Food was basically a warmed up tv dinner literally looked and tasted so fake from sitting so long that when it’s brought to your table and you can see the chili hardened to the plate because they made it 10mins ago and your getting it 15mins later was a chore to work up the courage to consume. The flour tortillas might as well been out of package and thrown in the container most were stuck together and so hard that you start to wonder if these were made by a factory and discarded because they didn’t meet quality mins.
Anyway this is a great place if you’re trying to turn people against Mexican food. Save your money and all YOUR TIME & just go to any Mexican fast food place or pickup a Mexican tv dinner and tip yourself the $60 you’d save from not pulling into this place that deserves to go out of business. (This may offend some to be clear this is no mom and pop restaurant this is a business that has policies and procedures that are to be followed to deliver quality and consistent food and service, these managers and district are obviously cutting corners at the expense of the customer which is why this strong statement has every right to be stated RIP to the OTB)
Let me leave the one thing that tasted edible which was the salsa but the chips were stale so hardly even enjoyed it.
This visit secured the deal that we never want to eat OTB again and now understand why our kids thank it’s disgusting.
Managers save yourself the time, just purchase more fake reviewers to build it back up from the only honest review here.
I regret not taking a photo of the “food” we ordered but if you need a visual go buy one of those tv dinners your parents bought when you were a kid warm it up, then peel back the plastic cover and viola there’s...
Read moreThis review is for the To-Go option. It was my first time ordering take out from this location. I ordered online at 1:45pm Saturday, selected a time to pick up at 2:15pm, and headed out to pick it up. I arrived at 2:08pm, parked in the Curbside parking area, called the number listed on the sign and spoke with someone advising I was here, gave them my name and stall number upon request. I waited about 10+ minutes, and called back letting them know I was still outside. The lady I spoke with said, “. . . I left them a note. I guess I can get it and bring it out to you.” I waited another 10 minutes, then finally went in to the To Go entrance. The lady at the counter was on the phone, so I waited for her to end her call. I advised her I had been waiting for my order at curbside. She asked for my name and went to check status. In the interim, 2 other waitresses came out at different times and asked if I needed help. I told them I was being helped and still waiting on my order. At the same time, a manager came out to speak with the waitresses and didn’t acknowledge me. A third waitress came out and asked if I needed help? I told her I wasn’t sure, and went on to explain to her how long I had been waiting. The lady that was checking on my order originally, came out, sat my bag and drinks on the counter, said they were waiting on my fish tacos to be ready. I only ordered 1 of the 4 create-your-own. I asked her if she knew what the issue was since I ordered online over 60 minutes ago. She looked at me and walked away. She didn’t acknowledge anything was wrong, nor did she apologize. What’s the point of ordering online and setting a time for pick up, pulling up to a curbside stall, calling to say I arrived and giving my stall number, only to go inside and wait another 15 - 20 minutes!? This place is poorly managed and needs to teach their staff how to be customer oriented. Not only that, the pick up area appears old and dirty. A glimpse of the kitchen wasn’t appealing either. I will not be going back. I’m very upset. It almost ruined my Saturday...
Read moreThis happened on 5/10/2024 and even today a few weeks later I’m still just shocked at how awfully we were treated. So Friday May 10th we walked in shortly after 9pm. Now it’s a little late but hey they are open until 11pm so we didn’t think it would be that big of an issue that we wanted to grab a bite and you know a restaurant where that’s what you do. Full disclosure we were a group of 9 but the restaurant was relatively empty so again didn’t think much of it. Originally we were told a wait time which was totally fine and after that is when things started to go south. As mentioned the place was pretty empty so we were patiently waiting hoping it wouldn’t take too long but that’s when we noticed hosts, servers and even managers all looking at us and having hushed conversations about our group. Someone in our party asked if it would be easier they could just push two tables together which we were was against policy which I do understand. Then a few minutes later and more hushed conversations between employees while clearly talking about our group kept occurring. At this point we’re uncomfortable from the obvious tension in the room. So again someone asked from our party if it would be easier to seat us at two different tables and simply not push them together and we’d be okay with that. Again we were told no and then at this point the story changed about our wait and we were now being told they couldn’t guarantee they’d even be able to seat us. I find it hard to believe at 9pm on a Friday you only have one table you can seat people at. And again the restaurant was basically empty and there were maybe 4 or 5 employees just standing around up at the front. However at this point the whole group made a decision to take our money and business elsewhere as we’d have an extremely uncomfortable experience. We all agreed that it felt very obvious that on the border simply did not want to serve us for who knows what reason and honestly I don’t plan to be back anytime soon...
