06/2025 Charley’s in Mansfield continues with the accurate order, great service and great food!!! 100% recommend!
05/2025 AGAIN! Charley’s in Mansfield TX rocks. Not is the food great but the service really is the best. I for some reason set my phone down at their store last night to grab my food bags. Did not Miss it until the manager figured a way to use Emergency Contact to call my wife. Thank you Charley’s. There is no better place to eat in my opinion in Mansfield!
03/2025 Some of you may be tired of my reviews, but Charley’s ROCKS. Give it a try! No disappointments. Great value for your hard earned money. Try it for yourself, you will love it!!!
Update!!! Out of the park again Charley’s!!! Great service! Great food! Add this place to your away from home eating. Definitely worth every penny!!!
Update 8/26/2024 This place is 100% for the satisfaction of the customer! They continue to amaze! My wife went in for our order tonight. When app award scanned my wife said the staff went into a buzz. Unexpected and totally a surprise they comped the meal. I do not comment on places very often, but this place deserves your business. Food is always great, service is always A1 and it is an enjoyable experience. I do not know if other locations are like this, but the Mansfield location ROCKS!!! 8/13/2024 I still will leave my review at a 5 star for now, however, this was my most trying visit to Charley’s to date. Not sure what has changed at this location, but things just were not the same. First, when you stop an item that is limited time, you should promote like you do when it comes out. I went back through all my Charley’s emails and text and I did not receive one single notice that the Kentucky Bourbon sandwich was being discontinued. Sad as it was a family favorite. Also, not to my liking is you limited kids menu. Our daughter loved the steak sandwich on the menu, now not there. She cannot eat a small and regular fry, therefore I am wasting money buying the small then throwing part of it away. The staff had no empathy with me as they have had in the past. So 2 of our meals were not as expected. Then the 3 rd sandwich had bacon added, even shows on the receipt, but no bacon on sandwich. We will give it another try soon, but if like this visit will scratch off from our regular go to places.
6/23/2024 We come here about once a week, because of the service and the quality and accuracy of our meal every time. Great job to the staff!
May 2024 I love that my order is 100% every time. Food and service is...
Read moreI had one of the worst customer service experiences of my life at Charleys Cheesesteaks in Mansfield, TX and I feel a responsibility to share it.
I walked in with a minor concern about my food (boneless wings and fries), and what I got in return was hostility, verbal abuse, and complete disrespect from the manager on duty named Lenard.
Rather than listening or addressing the issue professionally, she immediately became combative, spoke over me, and accused me of being a scammer. Then, in the middle of the conversation, she made a racially charged comment saying I was “playing the Black card” completely offensive and unacceptable.
She continued yelling, using profanity, and at one point said, “You don’t know me, sir” in a very aggressive, threatening tone that made me feel genuinely unsafe. It was completely uncalled for, and this wasn’t a misunderstanding this was outright hostility.
What alarmed me even more is that she seemed intoxicated. Her energy was erratic, her speech was slurred at times, and her behavior was so irrational that I truly believe she may have been under the influence of alcohol or another substance while on the job. This kind of behavior from a store manager is disturbing and dangerous not just for customers but for other employees.
Then she took it further threatening to call the police, inventing false claims that someone was going to threaten or harm her staff. That NEVER happened. Nothing about my conduct warranted this type of treatment. Her actions were completely out of line, unprovoked, and made the entire situation feel volatile.
To top it all off, the restroom was disgusting dirty, unsanitary, and clearly neglected. If the bathroom looks like that, I can only imagine what’s going on in the kitchen.
This location is mismanaged from the top down. Lenard should not be in a leadership role. She lacks the emotional maturity, professionalism, and basic respect needed to run any public-facing business.
This review isn’t written out of emotion—it’s written out of concern for public safety and accountability. No one should be made to feel unsafe or stereotyped because of how they look or for calmly voicing a concern.
I’ve submitted this to Charleys corporate and the Better Business Bureau, and I sincerely hope this location is reviewed, retrained, or restructured before someone else goes...
Read moreI grew up in Philadelphia. This was so disappointing and a slap on the face to Philly and everyone who grew up there. It is a flavorless, imitative abomination of something so simple one would think it impossible for someone to screw it up yet here we are..... 1., get some Amoroso rolls. They're available frozen from Sysco. What this place is using is trash. Don't toast the roll. No self respecting steak shop in Philly does. a cheese steak doesn't come with lettuce, tomato, and mayo. A cheesesteak hoagie does, but that's a different animal. Nor does it come with green peppers unless requested Offer white american cheese. A little salt and pepper goes a long way. Learn how and teach the staff how to properly cook and present a cheese steak ; for dine-in and takeout. There is a proper way: Chop the meat and veggies, place the cheese on top, then the roll, slide the spat under and flip it. Period. Not so hard. Additionally, train your people how to take an order. I told the cashier I was going to be very specific: I wanted 3 cheesteaks, all with onions; two with mushrooms. Simple. I thought she was going to short circuit. She started talking about peppers and L, T, and mayo. I didn't mention those items in my very specific order..... Purchase and utilize insulated foil/paper wraps for take out sandwiches; foil goes on the inside folks. I'm a corporate Chef. I started out out in an old fashioned diner in Norwood, Pa.; just outside of Philly. The first thing I ever cooked professionally was a cheese steak.
Call-out to the owners: I'm available to teach your people how to do it right anytime you want, when I'm in town.
For everyone else, if you want an authentic cheese steak this is not the...
