I do not believe they were honest with me about a guitar we purchased last Christmas 2021. Cost was around $750-$800. It was a faulty guitar from the start. After just about 4-5 of months we took the guitar back to them because the strings would buzz on the fret board. They said we could trade in or they would repair. My son really loved the guitar so he decided to fix it. It sat in their store for about three months or more. We called and stopped by. Then they realized they forgot to do the repair thinking it was an inventory guitar. This is where I donāt think they were honest. I think they just added shims under the saddle instead of doing the kind of repair described to us. The fret board was not worked on and they said they replaced frets but they did not because the wear on the frets indicate otherwise. My son changed the strings one time after the so called repair. But now because they added shims under the saddle it was weakened being too high for the bridge to hold. Now they claim it was our fault that the strings are buzzing again. And now even the bridge is damaged from the saddle being unable to seat properly into the bridge. The guitar was never right from the beginning and after their run around eventually it is our fault and we have an unplayable guitar, Out our $750/$800 and my son goes back to college where he is studying guitar and worship music as a major with something else I guess. We will not return as I believe they were dishonest about the...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis shop is the best music shop that I always judge other music shops against in my mind. You wouldnāt expect such an awesome little place in a town like this, but I guess in some ways itās the exact place you would have to find a shop like this. If youāre looking for a spot to pick someoneās brain about music, just go talk to the sales associates there. If you have no idea and are a complete newbie, just go talk to the sales associates there. You can even just walk in and wander around without saying anything or knowing anything and feel like you become more cultured about music just by walking through the door. And you might end up finding something really interesting! I love going and just looking at whatever they have in the shop that week. Their instruments and equipment inventory seems to rotate through pretty quickly so if you find something, it might be gone shortly. :) if your kids are polite, it would be a good place for them too. Metronome music offers lessons and instrument repair and all the standard stuff youād expect at a music shop. The small hometown feel and the friendliness of the associates will make you want...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI was looking to get my hands on a Fender Montecito ukulele and found one online on the website. I called the storefront and was told they didnāt have it. I inquired on the website through the chat feature and was told it was there, and being held at the front for me. The following day I arrived and was quickly disappointed to learn it wasnāt the one with the pickup installed as I had inquired about. I decided to look at other fender ukuleleās, only to look to my right and see the ukulele I actually wanted tucked away behind a display!
I was able to negotiate easily for the instrument I was trading in, and got a strap button installed on the spot. A very easy process overall. Well worth the 1 hour and 20 minute drive.
As for ukulele selection, they carry Kala, Fender, Luna and Amahi...
