Update: I personally had a good experience during the bookbag give away but I feel I have to speak up for others; I had many friends with kids go to this event and any of them that had more than 1 kid was denied more than 1 bookbag per household. When I went all 3 of my kids got one and when I left Mike told me if I knew anyone who needs any to send them by because there was still a good amount of bookbags left and that he needed to get rid of them but I had friends tell me they even went after I went and they were only allowed to get 1 per household, when my one friend went she only had 2 kids and was told both kids cant have one, only 1 per household.... she ended up leaving because why would you go to a free bookbag give away to get help if only 1 child can have one when someone has multiple kids, how is that helping families and how is it fair for the kids for their parents to pick and choose which kid would get one?? There was nothing on the flyer about limitations, and I feel like that was really upsetting for the families who probably needed that help and didnt get it because of whatever selfish reason the "one per household" thing was about even though they had plenty left over after the event was done.. thats shameful.
Mike has been amazing with giving me information on plans, helped my kids get their bookbags, he's very friendly...
Read moreI would never recommend anyone to go there. My stepmom bought a smartphone a couple of years ago. Did not like it and went back to her old phone. She’s in her 80’s and can’t get the feel right. So she was told her old phone was no longer going to be supported and had to change. They have a flip phone on display, but told her she couldn’t do that. Also told her she couldn’t activate the other smartphone and sold her a new one just to make a sale.
I would NEVER recommend anyone to boost mobile. Put her on my plan at Verizon with a flip phone and had to go thru hoopes with Boost to port her number to get that done. The guy at the Boost mobile store just wanted to push me off to call a number (on hold for 45 minutes) instead of just helping me get her...
Read moreI'd leave a bad review but It won't load. Lmao. That's a bad joke. Loved boost 10 years ago. Wish I stayed with straight talk. Apparently the 17gb of data my phone says I used isn't accurate. According to them I used over 40gb and I have wifi at home. Weird. Lop UPDATE: Paid my bill and it maybe a fraction better. Still don't have internet sometimes and it's extremely slow. Very disappointed I spent 250$ for this setup when I could've spent less than 100$ for the setup I had before this with a Motorola and straight talk. Yeah I would be gave up 10 gb of data but at least it works all the time...
