Phoned in a pickup order for lunch here today. It's the second time I've eaten here. This round was definitely better than the first. I ordered a brisket sandwich, with a side of baked beans, mac 'n cheese, and a strawberry shortcake dessert. Nothing disappointed, but one item stood apart from the rest. Let's start with the sides. The baked beans have a sweet and smoky flavor to them. They we thick and rich, and with the traditional BBQ sauce on the brisket, was bordering on being too sweet together. The mac 'n cheese was tasty. It also had a smokey flavor to it. I could be mistaken, but it tastes different than I remember the last time I was here. Granted, that was a year and a half ago, so I could be mistaken. But maybe they have changed their recipe. If so, good for them. Cause this is far better than I remember it being. The strawberry shortcake was delish. Really happy with it. Strawberries were fresh, the shortcake had the perfect texture and flavor, and they didn't skimp on the whipped cream. Loved it. The brisket sandwich though was the best by far. I ordered it with the traditional sauce. My only wish is there was a sauce option with more heat to it. That would be better with the sweet and smokey baked beans. But the brisket itself was cooked wonderfully. And the sauce is straightforward and delicious. Very happy with my lunch today. And for $19.99, I feel it was a really good value. Will be back again in the near future to try out more.

Went for a drive today to Mansfield to check this place out. Locally owned restaurant. Decided to try the trio sampler. 3 ribs, 1/4 lb of pulled pork and brisket. Ribs had loads of meat on them and we're cooked perfectly where they had just a little tug to them. The pulled pork was so succulent, OMG!!! I asked for a little fat on the brisket, it was so tender and juicy. Flavor from the cherry wood was so good. They have two sauces. One traditional with 17 ingredients, delicious. They also have a Carolina which typically I don't even try but they insisted, probably the best I have ever tried. The Mac n cheese was made with twisted noodles and a ton of cheese and very thick, not baked, off the charts for non baked Mac n cheese. The baked beans were delicious, very thick with real pork/brisket and brown sugar in it. Cornbread was sweet and very dense. Super flavorful. Talked for quite a bit with the owners, Dan/Denise. They truly care about the business. You can tell by the quality and care they have put into their product. If you're remotely close to the area and don't come to check it out, sorry about your luck. You are definitely missing out. I'll definitely be back. Now that I'm in a food coma, nap time.

Overall this is some pretty good food! A quick tip... They are located within the restaurant, so don't be like me and assume the food truck is the restaurant. I'm actually surprised this setup works because you have to go through smoking Bros before you get to the asain part (who's passing up bbq for Chinese food anyways?) Beans and Mac and cheese were good! Got the trio, and all the meats were tender. I'm only giving three stars because despite all of that I didn't taste any smoke in my meat! Being a avid griller/smoker, I love to appreciate how much time someone puts in a good bbq and not tasting any smoke makes it all feel somewhat incomplete. . Would have also like to have seen more bark with the brisket. I'll try again cause they were really nice and courteous, which is what always gets me to give it another go.

I want to know what you were voted #1 on. I mean this with the upmost respect because I wanted this to be the place that I could get some quality BBQ from. The pulled pork sandwich was dry and felt like you pulled the worst pieces of meat to make the sandwich. The sauce was decent but kind of bland the Mac n cheese had such bland cheese that you had to over season it just to give it flavor and don’t get me started on whatever that was I spit out of my mouth when I took a drink of what you call sweet tea. I love the atmosphere of this place and the friendly people here and again I want this place to be it but you have got to work on your recipes. I am from Memphis and I am not expecting Memphis bbq to come out of Ohio but to say you are number 1 of anything will have people coming at you for that standard and you need to show them you are number 1 not tell them. Memphis Nashville North Carolina and Texas have the best bbq in the world and they all also make good Mac n cheese and know that sweet tea is the choice of drink for BBQ. Get rid of the store bought garbage and make your own sweet tea for a cheaper price and a little bit more work. Put more love into your food and make some quality recipes after you experiment some more and I hope to erase this review and write a new one in the future. Again I hope that you find this with love and I really want this to be my place for quality bbq because I loved the energy and atmosphere...
