Story time: I went in today to grab a quick lunch for my wife and I. I asked for two sandwiches, a 6-inch and a footlong. I’m at checkout, and the employee has three footlongs bagged. I let her know I only asked for a 6inch and a foot long. She bags the one footlong I ordered and looks around trying to find the 6-inch. She finds it and I check out. After arriving home, my wife opens her 6-inch to find a completely different sandwich than I had ordered. So I drive all the way back to get the correct sandwich. Once I arrive and explain that the sandwiches must have been mixed up, I am met with a blank stare, and the employee seems to not understand that I’m returning the incorrect sandwich and trying to pick up the correct one. Another employee shouts at her and explains that I’m trying to get the sandwich I ordered. So she passes this task off to another employee (there are three or four people on shift, but the service seems scattered) and this employee scans down the line to find my sandwich. They end up finding it, but it’s a foot long. So they go to cut and throw away half of the sandwich. I say, “you might as well give me what you made, but I’d like a refund on the 6-inch for having to drive all the way back to return this and being given quite poor service. Blank stares. “We aren’t going to refund you, sorry. We’ve had a stressful day.” I explain, “Ma’am, I’ve worked in food service for over three years and when a customer is put out like this and given subpar service, it’s considerate to refund them for all the trouble.” She responds, “No, we aren’t going to refund you.” So I drive home and return to my sub that has gone cold, my wife is starving, and I wasn’t given the courtesy of a $4.99 refund for this whole ordeal.    Read moreSo tired of bad experiences here. Placed an online order of 3 subs for pickup and waited to go pick it up. We even waited an extra couple minutes to give some grace in case they were slow due to dinner rush. Pull up to the drive thru to pick it up only to be told that they haven't even started on it yet. They tell us to pull to the window to wait. We wait at the window a while before being told to pull up past the AC units to wait. Wait some more... Finally, I go in to see what's going on. The lobby was filled with customers waiting and what looked to be 3 workers just scrambling behind the counter. The cashier kept asking people who's food was who's. No one knew where anything was or was taking accountability for the mess they were in. They finally took our food out to our car and forgot about half of our order. Thank goodness I was inside to make sure we got what we paid for as the person who took it to the car had no intent of making sure our order was complete. I was shamed by the woman working there for going to the drive thru to pick up my food. Saying that we held up the line and implied that somehow my order wasn't as important as the "19" people in the lobby. At least 3 cars had shown up, ordered, and left with their food after we had pulled to the AC units. I guarantee we weren't holding up any lines. We finally got our food an hour after I had place the order. Total wait time at the restaurant was around 45 minutes. When we got home with our food, our sandwiches were not as we had ordered them.
This kind of service is unacceptable. We won't be ordering from this location again. I suggest finding better management and proper training for...
Read moreEvery third month, I have been ordering platters from this Subway for our Board meeting. While this location is always clean and in close proximity, I believe that I will be ordering from another Subway going forward. I had to call three times to place my order because the first two times I called, I was told they were too busy to take my order and to call back. Then upon picking up my order, I told the worker at the counter that I had a platter for my business name. She rang up the wrong amount, then went to get my order and saw that there was also a 6" with the platter. Another employee told her that is why she should always get and look at the order first. Then this employee proceeded to tell everyone that I didn't tell her what I ordered and it became my fault that she didn't ring up the right amount. I probably should not have smarted off but I did say..."oh...I'm sorry. I guess it's my fault that you rang up the wrong amount". Then as I was walking out the door, they proceeded to laugh where I could hear them. Please know that there was no one else in line and clearly they were laughing at what had occurred in the last minute. In addition, there have been two different occasions where I went through the drive-through on my personal lunch hour, and thought that they were very unprofessional, didn't say "thank-you", etc. I truly would prefer to drive further away on a regular basis in order to get better...
