Pho Binh Minh — Restaurant in Maple Valley

This review really pains me because the food here is the reason my family has continued to come here. We have been ordering here since we are local, we enjoy the food, the service, and the atmosphere. We have recommended and shared this place to friends and family. We would spend a lot of money here. But that all changed today. We were treated in such an unwelcomed way dining in. We ordered our food like usual, but we ordered drinks first. Our food came first so we were like it's okay, maybe they are just busy? But that changed when several customers ordered after us and they got their orders right away, the newly seated customers who sat next to us ordered food and drinks, they received both under minutes. We had to wave down the guy who took our order to ask where our drinks were? This is where it gets good. Boy oh boy, we got our drinks alright, two orders of drinks came just for us. Guess what, they were quarter full, like what the heck! Really? After making us wait for so long we were given quarter filled drinks, claiming no ice? I have ordered these same drinks for years sometimes no ice and never, EVER have I ever seen anything like it. It was that moment that we realized we were either unwelcomed or just not liked by the establishment. Well I don't want to leave a full bad review, because I believe the food is really good here, but my god. That attitude, even giving us our check before the table next to us as if pushing us to leave. Well, you're definitely getting what you want, NEVER...

We were on the way home from a long road trip and found this gem stone. The service was phenomenal. Love how they tried to clean up the table real quick before sitting us down. The food was absolute one of the best Asian places that we had ever been. From the second order was taken till the food arrived was within minutes even tho they had a few big tables ahead of us 4. We got mango salad with tofu which was so fresh; shrimp fried rice- the biggest plate ever; Banh Mi with grilled pork- amazing taste within every single bite; Steak, Brisket and Meatballs Pho- full filled with meat to the rim and extremely huge portion of noodles in a very very rich and delicious broth. The price was totally right for the portion, in my opinion. They came check on us, filled water, brought extra napkins as well. Restaurant was clean even though it’s almost closing time. Restroom was on point with bath tissues and soap. Super clean. Love the harmony of the color yellow blends with many green plants for decoration. This used to be my favorite pho place (I am an avid Pho fan and will travel far for favorites), however the quality of food has gone down. The pho broth is a little sweeter than I remember, and the last few times I've been here the noodles are overcooked. They didn't have Sriracha for a while and served an alternative brand that was way too sweet to enjoy - they've since replaced it with Sriracha but still, the pho isn't what it used to be. I've also ordered their Vietnamese style chicken wings, took one bite and had to drown the remaining wings in my pho soup after eating so as not to be rude, but it was that bad.

I don't think management has changed because I often see the owners wandering in and out of the kitchen, with - I believe the wife/ owner - coming out occasionally to sit in the dining room with her bare feet up on a chair...it can be unappealing while eating. I haven't had a craving to...
