Chic Streets — Local services in Marblehead

I asked my husband for a pair of Spanx jeans for Christmas, and in an effort to support local business I told him to buy them here rather than the Spanx website. So he bought them a week before Christmas and wrapped them and gave them to me on Christmas. We were out of town for two weeks and upon getting back I went to the store to return the pants because they did not fit well. I was told that they would not give me a refund or even allow me to exchange them and that I was basically stuck with a $130 pair of pants that didn’t fit me. This is 2.5 weeks after purchasing them (because we were traveling for the holiday), tags on, never worn. Upon consulting the chic streets website, it says that you will get store credit if you return something after 10 days; however, the owner claims that this return policy only applies to items that are shipped? That makes no sense- one store should have one consistent return policy that is clearly outlined on their website. The owner was completely unwilling to accommodate me in any way. She made that very clear. So I ended up calling Spanx directly and they exchanged the pants right away, no questions asked.

After I posted reviews, THEN the owner reached back out to me to try to rectify things. This was way after the fact and at that point Spanx had already taken care of me. I am sad to say that this is not a local business I will support as they do not understand customer service and they do not have a reasonable...

I could not be more pleased with both my purchase, and the customer service delivered by Julie, the owner! I had been eyeing a pair of jeans for a while…but was hesitant to purchase online because the price was a bit hefty…somehow, I came across Chic Streets! Julie had the jeans for $40 less than any store! I took the leap and purchased them! I was so excited! Then, I get a notification from the post office that the jeans were delivered to the wrong address…15-20 miles away! I panicked a little as it’s the holiday season and I was afraid I would never get to receive them, so I emailed Julie…literally at 6:30 AM. She emailed back, but not only that, she called me! We discussed the situation, she put in a claim on her end, I could tell right away that this was not her mistake at all! Though I’m sure she deals with multiple orders, I felt so prioritized and heard! Sure enough, within 36 hours, the jeans were at my door…carefully packed, true to description, and absolutely fabulous! I will be ordering from chic Streets for all my fancy pants needs from now...

My go-to boutique for on-trend clothing and accessories in various price points. Their collection is so much fun and ever-changing! Customer service is top notch. Plenty of onsite parking. So happy to have this in my neighborhood, but its definitely worth a drive, if you aren't...
