My sister and her sister-in-law and I spent well over an hour combing the beach for colorful bits of seaglass. We were here in late March of last year, so it was chilly, but so relaxing, and peaceful. Occasionally we'd announce a colorful sea glass discovery to one another. Otherwise, the only sound was the lovely sound of the water lapping at the stones on the beach. Really glad we stopped here for a couple of hours. I have a nice little collection of seaglass, and memories of the three of us spending a chilly afternoon searching for colorful bits...
Read moreMy all time favorite beach, forever and always. The water is clean, there's a lot of rocks, but not down by the shore and not sharp enough to hurt bare feat. There is an amazing playground with 3 separate play structures along with plenty of swings, a cool web climbing tower, wood walking paths, benches & picnic tables. The ultimate bonus is the seafood/ice cream place right on the beach, with excellent food, plenty of outdoor seating and a public bathroom! Read moreAlways a great beach! The sand or the rocks side of the beach is usually always neat. The bathroom is a plus, although I wish they were open a bit later then 4! They used to have outdoor showers for rinsing off - but that went away with Covid. I hope they return someday. The shack is great always good quick food and ice cream. I bring all my friends here. It’s worth the drive from Brighton. A big plus is the paddle board, kayak and float rental across the street for those wanting...
