Edit 2 : The owner of the Delivery company ( his name is Roland) is a liar and gaslighter. He is extremely unprofessional as well. After promising to come out and repair the damages HIS contractors make to my walls he has now gone back on his word, and stops responding to calls and texts. He tried to get myself and my partner to say that we are the ones that caused the damages; therefore he’s saying that he cannot come out to fix it because his dirty employees “didn’t create the issues “ if you do decided to do business with this company, I EMPLOR YOU TO HIRE YOUR OWN DELIVERY DRIVERS!!!!
Edit 1: I cannot begin to express how unpleasant and stressful it has been dealing with this establishment. Went in to place and order in April, paid for said order and had delivery with assembly worked out as well. Fast forward to July 4th ( which was my original delivery date) and no one has called to confirm the time that my items will be delivered so I decided to call them and the response I get it “ the order has been cancelled” I NOR MY PARTNER canceled the order so I’m genuinely confused as to what is going on.m( NO ONE FROM THE TEAM CALLED TO VERIFY OR CONFIRM THAT WE WANTED TO CANCEL THE ORDER) We are informed that if we still want our merchandise that we will have to drive AN HOUR out to Marietta to re do all of the paperwork. This should have been the red flag that made me say no, but against my better judgment….my partner and I went down there to redo everything because we needed furniture for our new place. Once we get down there I find out that the large sectional that I had ALREADY paid for had be sold to someone else, forcing me to take a floor model. So Once we redo everything and we are told that we would be FIRST PRIORITY on the scheduled due to circumstances. That was at 1430, and the delivery drivers didn’t get to our home until 2045. The delivery drivers were by far the the DIRTIEST, DUMBEST, and the most INCOMPETENT individuals I have ever met. They left basically just threw my mattress, bed, and foundation on the floor. Left my sectional in my living room WITH THE CARDBOARD and plastic still on, and left the sectional that was meant for my game room OUTSIDE OF THE ROOM blocking TWO rooms! They didn’t even have the decency to let me know that it wouldn’t fit in the room. They damaged my walls, and floors as well. I paid for assembly and delivery but only got the delivery and that was HORRIBLE!!!!!!!
If you can PLEASE AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAUGE!!!!! The level of stupidity, incompetence, and overall lack of communication is astounding.

Read moreUnfortunately my experience with American Freight on Cobb Parkway was absolutely horrible. It actually started off as a pleasant layaway purchase. Denise, the woman who initially sold me the bedroom set was helpful and was willing to work with me AT FIRST. After I made my last payment, I was told that the bed I wanted was no longer being sold (this was not a problem because I knew this was a possibility when making a layaway purchase). However, the documents I received on the first day of purchase stated that , if after 4 weeks my merchandise was unavailable, I would be entitled to a full refund. Denise and the store manager (Scott was his name I think) told me that they would call around to see if they could find all the parts to my bed. Scott mentioned that it could take up to 6 weeks for him to find it. Another option was that I could look at the new sets that were coming in as a replacement. I called the store twice to speak with Denise about any updates, but she was unavailable. She finally called back and told me that they still had not gotten all pieces for my bed and that they only received one new bed since my last visit. (I was not going to view just one bed, especially since it was not the one I wanted originally). My last payment was Thursday, October 2nd. Exactly 4 weeks and 1 day later (Friday, October 31st) I went to American Freight to see if they had my bed. Of course they didn't, so I asked for a full refund. Denise immediately got on the phone with her regional manager (Dontaye) and he said that they had a bed at another location. My first thought was "Where was this bed 4 weeks ago when I finished my payments, and why is it suddenly available now that I want a refund?" To make a long story short, I did not receive my refund and I now have gotten my lawyer involved in what could have been a simple matter. Not only did I not get a refund, Scott was extremely rude and unprofessional. I was very shocked with Denise as well. The calm, helpful demeanor she displayed on previous occasions was nowhere to be found. I would strongly suggest getting your furniture from a more professional, reliable company. American Freight is neither of these.

Read moreI made an order for a loveseat in store (assisted by Manny who is great!) on 1/26. I originally asked for delivery on 2/1 but I ended up rearranging my travel schedule and asked for an earlier delivery over the phone, which was supposed to be on 1/29. I called the store twice because I stayed him all day, expecting my loveseat. I originally found out my number was put in incorrectly, but that was fixed, and was reassured that my furniture was on the truck and would be delivered by 9pm. I was also told I would receive a call 45 min prior to them arriving. Never received a call and they never showed. So on yesterday, (1/30) I called around 11am & informed Johnathan that I did not receive my loveseat, he was able to check to see that my loveseat was still on the truck but apparently the drivers had too many deliveries. He told me he would speak with them upon their arrival to the store (around noon) & call back with an estimate of delivery time. I let him know that I needed to go to work last night at 8 pm and he assured me that it would definitely come before then. I never received a call for an estimated delivery time so I called back around 4:30. Johnathan again answered the phone and told me the drivers were doing the areas further out before doing Marietta and I told him that I am in Atlanta. He once again told me I would receive my furniture soon and definitely before 8pm. Still received no call, so I called back at 7:20pm, Jonathan answers and tells me he called the drivers while I was on the phone with him and that they were currently in route to me specifically and would be here soon. I was told they tried to call but were having phone issues. I decided that I would just miss work since they were actually on the way to me at this point. Turns out that was a lie because they never called and never showed, so I missed work for absolutely no reason and I am currently still without a love seat. I am extremely disappointed in this company and I feel as though I should be discounted or reimbursed for the delivery fee due to their unreliability.
