Paulees Place — Restaurant in Marietta

The fist time I went I dined in and I had the oxtail stew with brown rice and cabbage and a bottled water (they have several beverage options). Today I wanted to try the curry goat but didnt remember how goat taste. I was offered a sample and i promise before i could chew the curry goat meat I was telling the man to ring me up (I ordered curry goat with rice and cabbage to go). It was soooooo goooood. The flavors exploded in my mouth and my eyes lite up. I took a menu home because from now on I'm ordering here. Don't be worried bout the prices because the serving size is freaking awesome. Nothing is more than $15. The food is to die for!!!!! I never had oxtail and i never sucked on a bone like that a day in my life. The people are nice and always smiling. I love them. If that man wasn't out by the side of the road with that oxtail sign I'd never known they existed. Big ups to the man with the sign!! When I get married I'll be needing catering service!!!!!! The food was decent, but the customer service was HORRIBLE! There was a total of three people in the restaurant, one of which was me, and it still took almost 20 minutes just to get our drinks.

Also, my guest ordered a meal that she didn't like (some fried pork fat or something), she didn't eat any of it, and they didn't let her send it back. When they handed me the bill they had charged me for two complete meals! When I pointed this out to them, they refused to take it off the bill and insisted that it was my guest's fault for ordering it.

The waitress was VERY RUDE and argued with me for several minutes over whether or not it was good customer service to take back an uneaten meal and not be charged for it.

I enjoyed it the first time I went, but they've lost a great customer as well as all the people I can tell to not go there.

I tried to call the store personally and let her know how upset I was with the low portion of oxtails I received from her, that were mostly bones and barely any meat and I have a photo, I only received 4 pieces of oxtail - big bones barely meat - the rice n peas taste very old and kinda burnt , instead of her caring about my concerns in which I politely relayed to her, she instead began to yell at me over the phone and tried to deny everything even though I have a photo! Personally when I come any other time her husband is there instead, and he handles business way better in giving quality in food and portion ! But this time around because of her I can't even enjoy my food due to the low quality, it was nasty (the rice n peas) and the oxtail is brassy (meat) - wasted $33 on food I can't even really eat only thing I could try to eat were the collard greens, other than that a waste of...
