Veritas at East Cobb — Local services in Marietta

Formally known as Bella Grand...Taken over and named "The Veritas at East Cobb" causing nothing but issues for all the residents. Started replacing the sidings on the outside of the building to make it look nice and pretty. Cut everyones wires regardless of them being for satellite, cable, internet or life support. Now they want the internet providers (who have been trying their hardest to support their customer) to run wires in very specific ways all at once for the whole building (internet out for 1 week now). This is all during the COVID-19 crisis where everyone needs to work from home, take classes, or even teach from their homes. Very disappointed as to how this situation has been handled by the leasing team and their upper management. Basically prioritizing the look of the building over the lives of the people who now more than ever need the internet to work from home or take/teach classes to further their education. Tried to contact the company that took over the apartment community "First Communities" with no luck I'm afraid... Will return to update rating and comments as situation hopefully gets resolved... UPDATE 4/27/20: Still no resolution on this issue and no update from the lease team. 1 month later now. UPDATE 5/15/20: Leasing office was able to make a temporary connection. UPDATE 10/07/20: Temporary wire running through window removed and interior wiring finally completed at last! Rating...

Update: My previous review was 1 star, then I put two star. Now when I moved out their service was awesome. I recommend it if you don’t have any issue with rent amount. I couldn’t move to another similar type apartment because of their policy. Couldn’t live at the same apartment as the rent for one room was higher. otherwise it was perfact for me.

Old review: I don't recommend it. I am living here since half a month ago. Till now they didn't care about any of my complaints or service request. I am very upset that I am spending money for nothing. Their service is not good at all. I can not use their sunroom as it has a bad odor of animals or something. Their apartment has cockroaches and other insects but they are not taking any steps.

You don't have any option to pay rent on cash. You are bound to pay online and you have to pay a huge service fee for that everytime. But, when I asked them while paying to confirm lease they said would be once a year.

Some free dogs also attack sometimes. Horible sound of AC for the whole time. A lot of bad experience withing half of a months. I am not sure how I will pass more than a year.

Actually, I am paying $1440 including the service charge just for a room which I can not use for study at all. Other than this amount, it will cost a lot as there ACs consume a lot of energys. So you can not assume your utility bills also in...

I’ve searched a lot of places to be able to call a place of my very own. It wasn’t until I came across Bella Grand Apartments. During my first visit, I was greeted by an exceptional office employee by the name of Stephanie. From the moment I entered the doors, Stephanie had a warm smile and energy of willingness to help. She was fully transparent of amenities that the apartment complex had and did not have. She was able to answer my questions to fully ease my mind as this was my very own place. I was surprised to discover the amount of square footage I was getting for the price I was going to pay and most important perk, it had a washer/ dryer, a new furnished apartment and a sunroom. As we continued our tour of the complex, I was able to see the pride that the place took as it was clean and well managed. I knew that it was my top contenter in comparison to other places i had been at.

I had moved from Long Beach, CA and had been used to the chill and relaxed environment and this by far reminded me of that. My apartment is great, my neighbors are very chill and cool, and I’m am 5 minutes away from various restaurants ie Marietta Diner and 20 minutes from downtown Atlanta.
