The owner refuses to return my $500 deposit, one diamond ring and one diamond earring. On August 5th, in anticipation of our 40th wedding anniversary, my wife and I wanted to purchase a Delta Sigma Theta signet ring with a large ruby in the center surrounded by diamonds on a 14K band. Clearly we were willing to spend some money. We explained to the owner (Andres Cardenas) what we wanted and gave him a $500 deposit. He sent an email several days later of a ring with the sorority symbol completely wrong. I responded with an email with the correct sorority symbol and stated that I would be at his shop the next business day at 11am to talk about other issues with the ring. When I arrived at 11 am, his shop was closed. I called two phone numbers from the front door and his website and got no answer. I finally sent an email from my phone. 1.5 hours later, I received an email from the owner apologizing for his tardiness. I asked him to schedule a time convenient for him for us to meet again. I did not hear from him again for two days. I sent him an email after the two days stating that I felt uncomfortable with his business practices and wished for a full refund of my deposit and the return of the ring and earring. We agreed to meet on August 15 @ 11 am. When I showed up, he shoved a piece of paper in front of me stating that he had voided my transaction and that he would not return my jewelry until I paid him $250 for his jewelry design. I called my credit card company to discover that my transaction HAD NOT been voided as the owner stated. He became loud and confrontational. I felt robbed and threatened. I called the police only because he refused to return my property. The police were no help and told me that this was a civil matter and I had to take the owner to court. I AM WRITING THIS REVIEW TO STATE MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE WITH THIS BUSINESS. HE HAS $500 OF OUR MONEY, A DIAMOND RING AND A DIAMOND EARRING. I have an email of a misspelled sorority...

5 Stars! My men's signet ring is a piece of art. I live in Southern California and was a little worried about buying such an important piece of jewelry from a jeweler so far away, but Andres far exceeded any and all of my expectations. I can't thank Andres enough for creating such an Awesome looking ring. And I absolutely have to thank his assistant Amy for the wonderful job she did always keeping me up to date during the whole process. Amy thank you for always being so kind and patient with me from start to finish. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my signet ring already and iv'e only had it for about a month. Words can't express my admiration and appreciation for Andres and his workmanship. Hands down, he's the best! Andres custom made several rings for my son over the years, including his wife's gorgeous diamond wedding ring, so I was very familiar with the quality of his work. My mother gave me a diamond from her wedding band before she passed away. I finally made the decision to have my own custom ring made with the diamond, so I reached out to Andres (of course!).
