Me and my wife had to go shopping to the Sam's close by and could not decide what to eat. I was super excited to find that Marietta has a food hall! There are so many options to choose from inside. We wandered for about 45 minutes before we could decide. An boba tea place, egg roll place, a sushi place, pizza, Cuban, burgers, Italian. Plenty to choose from. You have to pay for parking, but if you eat there you get 2 free hours.
I decided on BBQ at smokehouse. I got the rib + meat platter. I chose chicken as the second meat. There was a little bit of a wait as the two side I ordered were beans and mac and cheese and they had to make more. Overall liked the BBQ. My only thing is for just having made the Mac and cheese, it was not all too hot. But still the food was good! I wish they had cornbread as an option. The bread they give you is just untoasted slice of white bread. Both the ribs and the chicken were very tender and flavorful. I was actually surprised by the amount of flavor in the chicken. Alot of places is usually bland (not in a bad way, just no flavor). The baked beans and mac and cheese were good. I think the mac needed a bit more salt (noodles felt a little under seasoned)
My wife ate at Pita. She got the falafel and harisa(I know i did not spell that correct) salsa with pita chips. That salsa was delicious. I would definitely recommend that.
My wife also got a Boba tea next to the Smokehouse. She really liked it as well. I dont remember which one she ordered.
Overall it is a great place to come with friends and family so that everyone can get what they like and hang out to eat. There is a pizza place in the center with a bar as well.
I look forward to being back and trying a different...
Read moreThe food variety is amazing, and the place, being new and all, is sparkling. I can't vouch for any of the food itself, as I didn't eat there. But the bigger point is that I wouldn't eat there if I could, as the music that pervades the place is the worst choice for a relaxing time to eat that you could imagine. I can only take hip-hop for so long, and when it's not that, it's some other kind of similar sing-songy nonsensical, noisy, beat-driven music that about drove me up the wall in just the short time I was in there. Frankly, I couldn't wait to get out! As long as you're just catering to kids, I guess that "music" would work. But, somehow, I think your target clients are a wider, and older, age group. I can tell you that you'll drive them away in droves with that kind of ambiance. How about some softer, non-intrusive music -- that's what I want when I'm eating. It's not a party, it's a meal. Whoever picked that type of sound for that place needs to get over their own tastes and think about the many different types of people who they want there as patrons. Either that, or get someone else to...
Read moreMy family and I recently visited Marietta Square Market, and we had an incredible experience! We decided to try burgers from Lucky's, and we were blown away by how delicious they were. Each bite was bursting with flavor, and it's safe to say they were some of the best burgers we've ever had!
Despite the lunchtime rush and the market being packed with people, the service at Lucky's was impressively quick. We received our food in a surprisingly short amount of time, allowing us to enjoy our meal without any long waits.
The vibrant atmosphere of the market added to the overall experience, with plenty of options for everyone in the family to explore. While it was bustling with activity, we found a cozy spot to enjoy our meal and soak in the lively ambiance.
The only downside was the parking fee of $7 per car, but the incredible food and atmosphere more than made up for it.
Overall, our visit to Marietta Square Market was a memorable one, and we can't wait to return to try more delicious offerings from the diverse array of vendors. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience...
