I rented a yacht of Los Angeles Yatcht charter and from the very first text message, Jack the employee, who was helping me and guiding me throughout the whole entire process, was absolutely amazing!!!! he answered every question I had and responded very quickly to them as well. Usually it’s really hard to sense personality and emotion through a text message but I felt all of that! his vibes were completely positive and they were so good that I’ve never had a hesitation moment!!
I had the pleasure of having captain George and his wife guide me and my party through the boat cruise and let me tell you, it was absolutely magical!! I got there a little bit late and George and his wife are so understanding and we’re so welcoming when I got onto the boat. they made me feel so comfortable, so at home and so accepted that I felt that I’ve known them for a very long time!! they were super friendly and just all-around amazing and I am so happy I was able to have them guide us through our cruise! Everything about the ride was beautiful they drove the boat very carefully and gave us direction on where we were going to go and the scenery was just absolutely beautiful!!! I highly recommend renting a yacht through this company because it was all around amazing customer service ! It was literally everything I ever wanted for my birthday so thank you guys for making my birthday wish...
Read moreDo not use them if you are not local. They canceled our contracted boat due to “mechanical issues,” only to have two of the boat employees admit the boat was actually double booked. Even after that, this company, which acts more like a middle man, maintained it was mechanical issues. They put us on a different boat less than 24 hours before we were supposed to have our memorial. They also changed our reservation time a few weeks before the event and, then again five hours before we were supposed to leave. They suggested we could move it to the next day. But, we had people coming in from out of state who were flying home the next day. We had 42 people coming from all over and they said, this is what you can do- different boat with different time, or cancel, or… the boat captain said we could keep our time, if we paid more money…. It was an awful way to spend the day when it was such an import day for our family. Go somewhere else or deal with the boat directly… there really aren’t that many options if you want to be at a specific beach location. In the end, we got it done and only two people missed the boat due to the time change. Grateful it was not more. Other option was to fly the ashes back home… I was totally scrambling to get updated paperwork to fly the ashes back home if it all fell apart. Such a...
Read moreTwo weeks before my event, I contacted Los Angeles Yacht Charter to confirm the catering arrangements. I was informed that the pricing for the Fisherman’s Catch package, which I had selected and was priced at $103 per person with a minimum of 20 guests Sunday through Friday, was incorrect. I was told that regardless of the information and price that was sent to me, I would need to have 40 guests to select that package for my Friday event. With limited time before my event and being in the midst of writing my dissertation, I had no choice but to go with the Spirit’s Catch package, which was similar to the Fisherman’s Catch but cost an additional $60 per person (additional $1,500). Despite the error being the company’s fault, they refused to honor the original price and split the additional $1,500 cost with me. I told it was a small family business and there was nothing they could do about it.
On the day of the event, we had a great time on the boat, but I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. The rice was mushy and hard at the same time. Overall, the catering did not match the quality of the price paid. I was even advised not to eat it. My guests expressed their dissatisfaction with the food quality. I regret not finding my own catering option for the amount of...
