I was skeptical about all the bad reviews this place has been receiving from abusing and harassing the employees to overcharged Costco food. Lets do a deep dive into the place that me and my friend visited, The moment we entered the establishment it was a literal horror show, one of the employees was rushing to leave and one could see a pained expression and a sense of relief from leaving. While we were ordering the Owner i believe who was prancing around all over the place without ever being in the kitchen while we were there was screaming and verbally abusing an employee in front of all the customers. I mean we were shocked at how he was treating that employee who from that moment never really recovered and you could literally see tears in that employees eyes. The owner would randomly interrupt his employees from doing their job always butting in and never letting them finish anything, This is all while we were still in line, Upon further looking the Danishes are exactly the ones from Costco which he reselling claiming he bake them. When asked from his employees they all hesitated to respond and had to turn to the owner for answers. Imagine working with such a tyrant who towers over you and not even letting you finish your job and constantly looking for faults. This is all happening while we were giving our orders, I mean at this point we were so outraged that we wanted to report him but it turns out he is the owner so that wouldnt really help. At one point he even lost his mind and started having a panic attack telling the employee to leave and let him throw a fit in peace. All in all this is truly a place of horrors and the owner is not in his mind and is completely ignoring the fact that his employees are human beings. Such barbarism must be common in the country where he resides, I believe as we have yet to see such display anywhere we have been. I live on the Marina so when my buddy told me about this place I had to check it out. When I arrived the person helping me was super nice and helpful, I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a cigar roll. When I got my coffee I was super disappointed, the coffee left me with a terrible aftertaste that consisted of a watery and burnt taste as if they were using the wrong grounds for their espresso machine. ( I’ve worked with coffee for 24 years now) also to mention I noticed dead and living fruit flys all around the place their was even a few dead ones on my table. The cigar roll was good but all around this place is tacky, smells like cleaning chemicals and is dirty. It also doesn’t suit the area and I would not recommend this to anyone. on a final note when I was finished I wanted to voice my concerns to whoever was running it because I know having business is tuff and maybe the owner or whoever was running it needed help. When I asked the nice gentleman where I could talk to the owner he pointed to a man with a blue beard and as I was heading over to talk to him I was able to hear him yelling and cursing at one of his staff members to what seems to be over nothing which left me absolutely appalled that such a person would do something that heinous to his own staff member.
