I have been to countless locations over the years and would say this MDR one is one of my very favorites. The staff is especially very friendly and even when there is a line the order never takes very long. One of my favorite things about this chain is how often they change up their seasonal items so I was excited to stop in yesterday to try some of their limited run items. It’s located in a shopping mall so there is plenty of free parking all around. It’s also in a less busy part of Los Angeles so it’s never quite as crowded as some of the more central locations. Inside is very large, there are plenty of tables to dine in, but I always choose to grab to go. I also love how there are many kiosks as you enter so you can pretty much place your order as soon as you arrive.
The seasonal items I tried were the French Onion Soup Burger, which I thought was fantastic. I am an onion and Gruyère fan so seeing that combo was an no-brainer. I also tried the Banana Pudding Shake, which I have had before, and loved. It had vanilla wafer crumbles on top and just was honestly delicious. I also tried the Parmesan Garlic Fries to mix it up and thought they were great as well. I would suggest ordering a side of cheese and mixing that for another great combo. I would recommend and will be back again many times...

Decided to try this place because it was new.
Walked in, no one greeted us no worries, just immediately had the fast food vibe as opposed to a restaurant.
There were a bunch of screens to order from...like Mcdonalds... furthered the fast food vibe. I really dont like this system, its very robotic. You cant get personal service from a screen.
Ordered the Shack Stack Burger and the cheesy bacon fries.
Everything tasted pre-made meaning not really fresh. My burger was ambient even though I had just received it. I kinda liked the shroom with the cheese inside that was interesting but it felt fabricated and the whole burger lacked flavor.
Cheesy fries with bacon was interesting but the cheese didnt feel like cheese either it was like fake goo. Fries tasted frozen/ not fresh
We ran into some family/ friends there so obviously theres interest but the whole thing felt like we were at a Burger King instead of a restaurant or hip burger joint.
If you like fast processed food you will probably...
Read moreThe staff is completely unprofessional. Eating while cooking other people’s food , not welcoming and greeting customers as they come in, and no name tags apparent. I wanted to see who was in charge to discuss and relay my bad experience in the store so I would not have to do this but unfortunately I could not bear to not tell what happen. Christina Soto was acting really flagrant and hostile towards me and I did not appreciate it at all. She has a very nonchalant attitude and is very comfortable where she has been because she feels like she can not get in trouble. I found hair in my food which is unacceptable at any food establishments. They need to find new examples to lead them so this restaurant can be at the level of professionalism it needs to be. All hospitality has left the building and they need to get back in shape. Name tags need to be worn so that way the employee can be held accountable for their behaviors. Food needs to be cooked and not undercooked. Overall, do not waste your time and money here....
