I had the time of my life celebrating my birthday aboard the Emory with Joss at the helm! We did a sunset cruise with a small group of friends and family, and the entire experience was unforgettable.

Joss is incredibly warm, professional, and knowledgeable about the Marina del Rey waters. From the moment we stepped aboard, everything felt easy, joyful, and beautifully run. We played music, caught the most stunning views—and even had dolphins swimming alongside us!

A month before the cruise, I was able to visit the boat to plan out where to place decorations and the cooler, which made party prep stress-free. Joss also went above and beyond by taking gorgeous photos and even creating a highlight video to remember the evening.

We used California Dream Tours Boat Charter during our girls trip to Marina Del Rey. There were 7 of us but the boat could have held many more guests. The boat was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We had so much fun. We were going to stay near the marina and santa monica, but the Captain, Joss was chatting on the radio and then asked if we were ok with going out further. To our surprise he took us to see a pod of dolphins. I swear there were 100 of them swimming all around the boat, it was incredible. We stopped at Trader Joes on the way to the boat and bought drinks and snacks, which was super convenient not having to lug all that stuff from home. Joss met us at the gate to the dock to let us in. I had an amazing experience with Captain Joss and 14 friends yesterday! I'm so lucky that we booked this less than a week out and this vessel was available as it is the ONLY vessel that can take 15 people in the area. It is exactly as advertised and is clean, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was bigger than an airplane and the Bluetooth speaker system was loud! Captain Joss was extremely communicative before our trip and during. He was happy to take pictures for our group and even learned our special pose! 10/10 5 stars absolutely would recommend and would go back.
