Pine Tree Mall — Local services in Marinette

So the Pine Tree Mall was once a bustling hub of entertainment, whether it was the two minute stroll from one end to the other, the mini carousel horsies, food stands, the old restaurant with ground glass windows (I believe they had this), or the smiles from happy shoppers.

My cousin once walked the runway where they had a fashion show for kids. She killed it.

And can I mention the fantastic Circus arcade they used to have? This was peak 80's fun when I would be visiting my grandparents who lived in Marinette. Now that I'm grown up, I miss the Circus and the convenience of that...convenience store (Walgreens?) across the way.

So while this mall isn't bustling with patrons eating ice cream or getting their nails did anymore, it still stands as a landmark of nostalgia for all of us old folk. I'm glad it is still used as a skeleton for outer businesses including the Monarca Mexican restaurant and their fantastic Quesabirrias.

Improving every day. The new owner should be commended. Update 11-20-17 JCPenney's closed up. Many new stores have been added including Kohl's, Planet Fitness, Famous Footwear, TJ Maxx, & Petco. Up-Date 7-27-18 Harbor Freight Tools is OPEN now adding to this lineup. Jo-Ann's Fabrics will be opening 8-3-18. Yonkers closed up, so now we have another massive area to add new stores. 6-26-18. Today the new Harbor Freight Store opened. Absolutely beautiful store. 8-3-18 Jo-Ann's Fabrics Grand Opening Today. Excited to see what their plans are going to be with all the Younkers space. I'm hoping they're going to start adding stores inside the mall again and maybe a food court. 11-18-18. Update they are now almost finished with the New Starbucks. Looking forward to that. The pine tree mall is an example of how malls are dieing throughout the country. The inside of this mall Is well maintained. No food court exists that I can see, but it looks like there might have been one at one time, just hidden behind some doors. Accessable from the inside of the mall Is s the following.. A nails salon Sporting goods store Applebee's Pet store (can be accessed without entering the mall) What looks like a Red Cross clinic set up in one of the abandoned shops. A public restroom

As far as the rest of the mall, it is mostly empty on the inside but several stores are added to the mall building but only accessable from...
