Update below the original review.
Original: I went here to get my engagement ring resized a half-size larger, and it was a very disappointing experience. I was told by the salesperson that they would ask the goldsmith to go around the engraving. It looked like they went between the words but some of the lasering was removed during the process. The sizing was done perfectly though. Another salesperson reached out to ask if I was satisfied and I said no. They said they would be willing to redo the engraving for no charge. When I got the ring back the second time, the engraving was three times the size and the ring itself was slightly larger than the original resize had been.
If I could go back in time, I would have asked to speak to the goldsmith myself because after speaking with two other salespeople (one at Feldsteins in Green Bay and one at another jeweler) it seems they could have done the original resize differently and not impacted the initial engraving at all.
Update: I’ve changed my review from one star to four stars because Tommy from Feldsteins reached out to me after my original post and asked if he could correct the situation. I said yes, and I was really pleasantly surprised by what happened. He refunded what I paid for the original resize and sent my ring to another jeweler to be laser engraved so it is much closer to how it looked originally. He also delivered the ring to my house once it was done since I was not going to be in Marinette at the same...
Read moreI purchased a cremation ring prior to losing my dad. The ring was not from Feldsteins. I walked in to their Marinette location and showed a couple of the ladies my ring and asked about soldering once I had the ashes. I was told yes, and it would have to be soldered with their laser. It’s a sterling silver ring with a moonstone. There is a lot of tiny details and a clasp that holds the ashes under the stone. They said I could bring the ring in with my daddy inside and they would not open it. If for any reason they would need to open it, they would contact me first. Fast forward about 6 weeks. I called to see when I could drop my ring off and have it gone for the least amount of time. I brought it in on a Tuesday during my lunch. The young man that waited on me, Tommy, was so very nice and respectful. My ring was done the next day and I picked it up Thursday. I was greeted by Tommy when I arrived. He gave me my ring and I became emotional. It’s perfect. I can’t see where it was soldered. If this experience wasn’t amazing enough, I received a Thank You card last week- thanking me for trusting them with my dad. I couldn’t have asked for a better interaction, better service. For the brief time I was there, I was treated like family. Thank you from the bottom of my...
Read moreNot very happy with outcome in Marinette store!! First off I keep getting messages about previous done relationship even though I have asked numerous times to get my name and number off my ex account and his off mine. Got married in July and still got a happy anniversary for previous relationship in September.. this was after I had already had them pull my stuff for third/fourth time!!! My husband got my engagement ring here and I went in before wedding and asked for the enhancement to go with the ring, was told they do not have it anymore but showed me one and said it would work. Got married and went in to get the set soldered together as the set did not fit right- there was a huge gap between ring and enhancement which was catching anything and everything and ruining my ring!! I was told no problem everything will work out you’ll have your ring back in 2 weeks at latest !! Guess what- today is the last day of two week mark and my husband gets a call. They haven’t even started it!! Need to know what they can do as both rings are different sizes and styles and it’s not working out. I’m so frustrated and so done with this place!!! I will NEVER suggest anyone I know to go here!!! (Granted they already put bad taste in a few of my family members mouth so they were...
