Went there twice, there won't be a third. I went there my first time looking for extra parts for my rc truck. The guy helping me seemed inconvenienced, but kinda helped. He didn't know im not a novice at this at all, been racing for more than 18 years. Specifically asked for a stock spur gear, he looked in the book told me it was a 50tooth which he didn't know I already knew. He goes to the shelf and grabbed the only gear he could find which was a 45tooth, I said I wanted the stock one. He then told me that this was the stock, in other words he wanted to sell me the only gear he had. He didn't know I was also looking for that one to. So i still bought it. If I didn't know what I was doing this miss information is not the way to run this type of business...
2nd and last trip, I stopped by on a statuary, I needed a list of about 8-12 parts ordered for my rc truck, I like having spare parts available incase one of my kids break something. I get there and the 2 guys are busy with the racing which is fine. I give my list to the younger kid behind the counter where a lady was helping. I ask if I can get these ordered. They say they'll give the list to the owner. I called back a week later, get a grouchy guy on the phone. I asked if my parts were in or at least ordered. All I get is "I don't know I don't order anything" I ask if he can find out, I then get "he's not here". I say ok I'll try back later. I call the following Friday which puts us at 13 days now. I get nearly the exact enthusiasm as last time, and nearly the same answer. I say I'll give it another try next week. I called back there next Friday. Now were at 19 days, I call and I think it was the same guy again, all I can get out of him was "I don't know if it was ordered because I don't order" by now im not thrilled, I could imagine if I needed this part to make my truck run. I tried to buy local, was even willing to wait the extra time to get my parts. But someone needs some serious lessons in customer service, at least pretend to be happy to be there. I don't wish bad on any business, but treating customers this way won't end well. Maybe it's just "new" people, or because I didn't have the brand they prefer, I don't really know. I even asked about ordering a revo for my friend that is wanting to get into this, and he kinda blew off the question and said "did you see one on the shelf" not sure if he was being sarcastic but to say the least my friend went to kokomo to buy his revo and boat. Which is also where I had ordered and bought my $138 in parts.

Read moreI came from out of town to buy something and my purchase was around 60 bucks and i was ok with that.what i wasnt ok with was the fact that he wouldnt bind the receiver to my transmitter for me cause i hadnt been able to..all it took was a screwdriver to take the top of the battery box off and he wouldn't and said he needed 35 bucks an hour to break out any tools ...i thought he was joking..he was not joking...thats whats wrong with new generation of RC raciers....ive spent thousands of dollors at the place i useally go to in Indianapolis...i guess this guy doesnt need nor wants my future business or is to good for my business and my money...it is what it is...i went to indy and my car was fixed in 10mins and i spent 200 in that shop on the way out as i will continue to do my RC business there..i will never step foot in this mans shop again and neither will my RC friends .. thats not the way you get new customers that are loyal and spend huge amounts of money on there...

I came in and brought my rc truck with me and asked them if they had the servo I needed he took one look at my truck went back and got a servo I tried to put it on when I got home and it didn’t fit. I called the store and asked about the return policy and the staff member asked if it was opened and what not and told me I would need to talk to the owner tomorrow. I’ve also heard they sell cheap parts and do stuff like this to keep you coming back for more parts and what not. Honestly worst rc shop experience I’ve ever had will never be coming back ever. Only way I’d even think about coming back is if they were to refund my money in full or I can go to a different place where they help me with better parts and even teach me how to put it on instead of just throwing the part on the counter and telling...
