Customer service is usually a little bit on the curt side but the food quality and portion size makes it worth looking past until recently. Our orders for the last two trips have been incorrect. We have had to make 3 separate trips through the drive-thru for a wait time of over 45 minutes trying to get our order right. As much as my daughter loves the mac & cheese and sandwiches, I can't say we'll be back anytime soon. We don't mind paying a higher price for quality food and a usually generous serving size - we don't even mind a long wait if I know we're going to get what we ordered and it being hot and a full serving. Seems those days are gone for the Marion Popeye's. Sadly, the mac & cheese quality has slid to the level of the overflowing trash can outside the drive through window, portion sizes seems to have been cut. When they first opened the Marion Popeye's was as good as the all of the California Popeye's we have been to but not any longer. The manager acted like our situation was an isolated case but after reading the reviews on here, it is obvious missing items and incorrect orders are the norm rather than a rare occurrence. The staff are incredibly rude, doors locked during business hours so you can't go inside and get your order corrected . . . nah, we won't be back for a very long time. Maybe new management & properly trained employees with customer service skills would go a long way to making a difference. Not usually one to complain about a fast food restaurant, things happen. However, it seems to be consistently bad now, and the prices are those of a sit-down restaurant. Like I said, we don't mind paying a higher price if we get the quality and value to go with it. Read moreWhere do I begin? Always an excuse! When this restaurant was only a rumor in this small town I talked to people who were excited to think they we’d be getting a Popeyes! However…when it became a reality…these same people have since told me that they will never patronize this particular restaurant again due to their lack of customer service! Are they always short handed…I would assume! Today I went in to order rather than go through the drive thru. Stood there for 5 minutes before anyone acknowledged that I was there. I am physically in this restaurant!!! Not in the drive thru. Finally the man glances over to me but made no effort to take my order! So while I am standing there I hear at least 3….THREE orders taken in the drive thru! That’s the job of this person but how sad is it that sitting in your car makes you a priority over someone who CHOSE to go inside! The man who was up front was filling orders…I get that but to think that no consideration was given to someone who got out of their car to come in is beyond ridiculous! I could say that it’s not his fault and he was frantically trying to keep up. Hard not to feel sorry for these people. But I had yet to order anything. I finally walked out. Sadly I now join these others who have told me they will never eat here again! And I need to add that I have eaten here numerous times had have NEVER had a good experience. Left me in a bad mood every single time. But I want to keep the businesses...

After arriving for my order that I made on the app we waited from 9:04 thru 9:32 and finally got our food when several items were missing including drinks which we informed the nice lady working at window. She was making our drinks when I noticed food was missing so I went inside. There were two workers starring at me for a couple of minutes until I said sorry were were missing a few items to which they responded inside is closed go back through the drive threw. I said that we were waiting 20 minutes and a lady in the back started cursing at me. I was not going back threw drive threw after waiting so long. So the girl working window said that she was making our drinks. I apologized for coming in and explained the items we were missing she helped me out the door. My experience with her was not bad at all and honestly the wait was long but I wasn’t mad about that. I’m 17 and would not write this if I wasn’t so upset. It’s so unprofessional for them to be so rude. And I understand forgetting food I’ve worked in fast food so I’m understandable but IVE NEVER yelled or cursed or gotten mad at a customer for being concerned about food.
