Swamp Fox Bookstore is a must visit for booklovers and families! Located east of downtown Marion, their service is top notch. If you want a specific version of a book, they can order it for you. Want to attend author events? They are holding them at the Marion Public Library, making sure you get signed books, and giving back to the library, too! I also enjoy the Whatcha’ Reading Book Club, held at Craft’d coffee shop in Cedar Rapids. Hate to miss it, actually, as it is fun to talk about books and learn about books people love. I love my indie bookstores and Swamp Fox didn't disappoint!

It's just east of the downtown Marion shops, but it's not that far off the path! And don't let the outside fool you - there is a nice selection of books and very helpful staff working at the store.

I liked the setup of the store and there was no pressure in purchasing anything. There were cards under some of the books that pointed out the staff favorites. I decided to take a chance on one of the staff picks and I absolutely loved it!

Such a cute little children’s bookstore! It was so fun going in and seeing the wonderfully curated selection of children’s books.
