Down Right Technology — Local services in Marion

There are two particularly outstanding things about Paul and his “Down Right Satellite” business: (1) he’s a real person, who’s available locally; and (2) he’s an expert who really knows his stuff. Admittedly, my wife and I have been “dinosaurs” when it comes to home electronics. For years we’ve had multiple televisions in the house, all “tube” sets . . . not a one “high-def”. Our “big screen” has been a huge projection box. Rather than face extinction, we finally decided to upgrade . . . and one of the best decisions made was to contact Paul. He came to our home, evaluated our system, recommended specific options to improve our service, reviewed cost and, together with business associate John, installed everything needed expediently. We now have flat screen televisions, all “high-def”, and a single satellite receiver controls everything (also with ability to watch TV anywhere there’s a Wi-Fi signal). We can’t over-emphasize how impressed we’ve been with Paul’s knowledge and professional skill, as well as the attention to detail he and John took during installation. It’s reassuring to know that Paul is readily available if a problem ever should occur. If you have satellite questions or needs, don’t ever call an “800” number for “tech support”. ...

Our family is new to Iowa and didn't have any idea where to go for getting a new satellite system. Paul and Down Right live up to the great reviews. He never once tried to up sell us on anything, and listened patiently while I explained what I wanted in the house. We have a fairly unique situation in that the main receiver isn't hooked to a TV, it is in the basement and we have genies on the two TVs. Paul and John painstakingly set everything up so that it all worked perfectly the first time.

Thank you also for installing the cable outlet. Most places would have said no, we don't do that, or you have to ask ahead of time. You were so willing to do it even though I only mentioned it the day you were installing.

I want everyone to know that I am a very happy customer. Paul did a great job for me. About a month ago I was complaining to my friend about my TV service, she told me about Down Right Satelite and that she was very happy with them so reluctantly I called. Paul came out asked a lot of questions about who watched TV, what I liked to watch, and what I wanted, he recommended a few things to me.
